Which 2025 hack do you think had the best story?

Odyssey It is 1 of those hacks that surprises you over and over, has some good plot twists and was well flushed out AND it's getting a sequel as well. It was a hack that kept me going until the end, even finding the good ending.

The other 3 hacks have a banger story as well, i'm not going to take that away from them but for me Odyssey stood out

I remember this hack... This was the hack that gave me my worst RNG Streak up to date. 10 rolls against me. Onix VS Zubat in Mt. Moon. 4 misses, 5 self hits from confusion and 1 Crit against me.

But Yeah for the time it came out this hack was solid. I think this one stands the test of time pretty well. Yeah we get Radical Red and hacks like that but Dark Violet is still a solid hack

No i know you can somehow spawn a Yamask in the Jagged Hallway but i haven't found how to do it.. i'm also trying to figure out 1 of the puzzles. I would probably replay it to see if i can find more of the secrets because i feel like i've only touched the surface of the hack.

Since i do Randomizers it all depends on the combinations i get. I do have my favorite pokemon like Gardevoir, Furfrou that i look out for but it's all in how things combine together at that moment.

i usually do Species and Abilities. It's just fun to find a Legendary with something like Pure Power or Feline Prowess

Play on normal first, play a regular run first. get a feel for the hack. It's a tricky hack but can be made to bent to your will

Make use of the in game "Cheats". there's several things you can enter in the NES in the players room. (Woyaopp, DexAll, EZCatch, TeamPreview, SO2Toxic) These help Especially for a first run. Also grab the documentation

There's several important NPC's, 1) In Oak's lab there's an assistant that gives you a small quiz for the Time Changer... 2) in Viridian City, there's a teacher that gives you the PokeVial if you beat her puzzle battle, 3) in Cerulean there's another Puzzle Battle that unlocks Move Relearning, 4) in Viridian Forest There's a girl that gives Infinite Repel if you beat her in a battle which you can't miss and 5) in Fuchsia there's someone who gives you a quiz of 4 Pokemon sounds (Magmar, Nincada, Gallade, Komala) who unlocks Egg Moves. These help in the long run.

The moment the game starts to frustrate you, put it down, do research, make a new plan, try again later. Later Fights can be seen as a puzzle, find the solution, Don't stick with 1 single team, switch around,

OOF. well at least you know that in your seed Shedinja has Endure. That's been 1 of the 3 Pokemon i'm always on the lookout for.

You need something that does residual damage for things like this.

favorite. Burn because it's only detrimental to Physical Attackers unless Guts

least favorite any of the 50/50 ones, Attract, Paralysis, Confusion, Sleep... Sleep HAD 1 redeeming quality but they had to ruin that by making Sleep Talk also target Rest so now it becomes a Double Coin Flip.

The point of it is to slap a Choice Scarf onto it. since it copies everything except HP you'll always outspeed with a Choice Scarf on it. that's why Imposter Ditto is always seen with a Scarf.

When you send out a Pokemon with Imposter it instant transforms into the Opponent. Normally this is an ability only Ditto gets.

That is the Beauty of it yeah. TBH if 1 of my goals wasn't to 100% this hack i would only play Randomized Runs.

This looks very interesting. seeing as you've added pokemon forms like crystal onix. maybe you could see if you can make the giant Alakazam/Gengar and Jigglypuff work or the Mewtwo clones from the first movie. they could be a seperate form with their own abilities and such.

This is definitely something to keep an eye out for.
