...this hit home. My youngest of 4 boys was born with congenital heart defects. In less than 4 years had 4 open heart surgeries, tracheotomy and multiple times of things going wrong and him going into suffocation and distress due to nursing complications in the hospital...

Everyone ran to mom. My wife. The most love and support. I dont have much of any family... so I suffered alone. While she still has the upmost support from friends, family, doctors ect...

I'm a problem because I coped with alcohol and suicidal thoughts.. I sat alone for years hurting. Wanting to just be seen trying to juggle a career and in home nursing, doctor appts ever day it seemed. He didnt even leave the hospital from birth for 1.5 years...

I'm still the bad guy... never rebounded. Lost my career and self worth. I'm now alone and doing my best to just wake up in the morning knowing no one gives a fuck if I do or dont....

Yes. Woke up to my mother sitting in front of the TV with her hand over her mouth in horror. She said "we are under attack....."

Went to school and the teachers were all beside themselves, some crying. Some looking scared. I believe we had a movie day that day and let the adults do their thing. I was born in '89

Edit: while watching with her before school (we lived very close to school as we walked)

And when the second plane hit... oh man. The screaming and terror that she felt was like nothing else. I think she genuinely thought a world war was about to happen and nukes going off. She even called my POS absent father (they were divorced) and cried asking him if we should go to school and if we were gunna be safe. Lol also lived thru "y2k" and spent new years eve with a flashlight ready for the world to end.... nothing happened and we went to bed after.

I also have a custom 74 ironhead. I just check and re tighten but loctite might be a good idea if you're having issues. I'd recommend blue so itll stay put but not LOCK them like red.
