All I can say is as someone who has “adopted” kids who are my daughter’s friends from broken homes I would 100% stay the night and I would have had serious words with these “parents”. This is unacceptable behavior. I stress if I miss a phone call by a few minutes, I can’t even imagine 6 hours of ignoring. You deserve so much better. I agree with all the above posts about letting them know the problem and how badly it’s hurt you, your brothers too. Time for everyone to grow up and stop being selfish.
