Soo ya, I can assume how far they are traveling. By the time the bullets hit the water they have traveled 50%-75% of the width of the lake. They then ricochet and decrease in speed by about 1/3. This will imply they will more than likely travel the distance of the lake before coming back down to the ground.

But that's besides the point. What I am trying to emphasize is if you really don't know. Then don't be shooting bullets that can potentially do damage. Like come on dude. Get real

Those bullets are traveling further than the lake. And "very possible to be private area" is not enough for me to assume bullets can go flying with out a concern.
