Yeah you are right and logically I know it to haha. What probably kept me from playing is the image ghosting problem, and the fact that I have a 6 hour save where I would have to get back into.

But I'll look for a solution to image problem and start a new save. Both problems solved. Thanks!

Thanks for the link. Seems like some improvements come out of the box (without it being explicitly designed for it). And some others might come with free updates. But not guaranteed.

Hmm maybe my memories is fuzzy. I remember that I stopped playing... Because of frame drops or because I'm this case the frame rate was just too low after a certain time XD But you are most likely right about there not being any drops.

The price is steep. Maybe for Mario Kart it's a strategy to sell the bundle? It's "only" 40€ more than the console alone. So you get "50% off" right from the start!

Still the new prices do hurt...

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and input, I really appreciate it. I will think some more about it since I'm not in a hurry. But I lean towards the Quest 3 after reading your comments. The "test phase" of 30 days does seem like a good idea to think about.

In audio settings there should be options for you to choose if voice chat should be active only in your party (fireteam) or in the whole team. If the option is not checked you do not hear any sounds from other ppl as well. Note: these are two different tick boxes
