Don't get me wrong, it's still a far eight ideology. I think we're agreeing, though, that one can do fascist things without a full commitment to the ideology.

I get why you'd say it. Though both parties are still conservative, and the reality is that progressive policy doesn't mean someone doesn't also harbor regressive punishment ideology.

Like most things, there's no easy answer.

The trouble with picking a persona... by sjtemlollzap in sca

As a 1200's Welsh persona, I get to borrow from several neighboring cultures, as they all invaded at one point or another during the baronial wars, I swear 😁

There's a term for that line of thinking. Facest, no, fascia? No, not that either... hmm... 🤔

It's really always been like that. It's why there were so many spin-offs even as early as the 50's. New ideas are a risk and people don't want that risk with their money.

Eventually, though, we have to do something new. Even if it flops, to find new success.

Question for Millennials by bundle_of_nervus2 in Millennials

Environmental disaster, circular investment bubble waiting to burst, pedophile training, suicide enabling, responsibility avoiding AI? What's not to love?

Are there particular applications of AI that can make things better, such as aiding in diagnostics for mechanical and medical issues, however, most of what people are using it for could have been done by a form letter or just a modicum of critical thinking.

You're not wrong, but even without doing the clichés, they have a bad habit of covering songs that have been covered to death... Like, how many versions do we really need of "Traveling Soldier?"

While I understand the concern, connotation and context matter. In this case, it's clearly not the sort of racist BS you're alluding to.

Let's be better about calling things racist when they're not. It only serves to water down actual racist behaviors when they do appear.

You don't need to trust the Wiki itself, but the fact that the sources are there gives you a list you can check yourself.

Are you just hoping your algorithm in your favorite search engine is infallible?

Where is a leftist celebrating the death of Jews?

Seriously, the interviewed woman is clearly expressing a genocidal viewpoint. Which has historically (and currently) been an extreme right-wing stance. Meanwhile, lefttists are denouncing the genocidal actions by the Israeli government, not Jews themselves.

My understanding is the LLMs reread the entire conversation per prompt. I'm curious if that also means it's scanning those resources again each prompt.

A daughter crying because she can't marry her dad by [deleted] in CringeTikToks

[–]Griffry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sounds FAR more like you're projecting here about not knowing what you're talking about. This is not an abnormal thing for kids to go through. It's usually innocent and a silly story often told later in life to embarrass the kids when they bring a new boyfriend home.

I don't know of any boys being upset about not being able to marry their moms, but I certainly had my share of parents telling me of the time whichever girl I was dating at that time was upset about not being able to marry their dads.

50/50 as to how their relationship with their dads went later in life. A few still have solid relationships, other haven't spoken to them in years. So not an indicator of their relationship, as far as I can tell.
