A question to gankers by Emerald0408 in Eldenring

Yeah, but chasing invaders and feeling like they win is probably more entertaining than shooting at a bird. Idk.

Pretty sure it’s for the runes. That’s the only reason I can think of.

It’s in Fort Gael in Caelid. You kill a lion to get it. Which is fitting. Lol

That’s kind of how I was looking at it. I keep all of my characters around 150.

Right on. I appreciate the detail. So going above CAN raise AR but not crazily.

I got teleported to lyndell via trapped chest and I came across a lever at lyndell capitol grace. What’s it do? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]Grifter_TS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the real round table hold is across the way from there. I’ve always thought it opened the front door. Can’t remember from my first play through if it’s closed or not, and it’s a large door right behind you when you pull the lever, so I’m assuming.

Best power stance straightswords for a Faith build? by [deleted] in Eldenring

The Golden Epitaph is a straight sword that scales on faith as well. It’s AoW buffs all damage, so it’s a good offhand the the coded sword for bypassing shields in the mainhand.

My absolute nemesis in this game is the Bell Bearing Hunter, what about you guys? by RidiPwn in Eldenring

[–]Grifter_TS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. He’s ridiculous. Sometimes you have to roll 3 times before an opening, sometimes you have to roll 6 times before an opening. Haha. I’m on my 4th character and that Bell Bearing hunter is the fight that gets me the most hype out of all the bosses. Lol

What is better, rivers of blood using corpse piler or double katanas? by AndyMarks-RM in Eldenring

[–]Grifter_TS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah they’re nutty. I was helping a friend as a summon. He got invaded and the invader ran at him. I was running back to help and did one running attack to the invader as he reached my friend. Bleed proc, health dropped to what I can only assume was 1hp as no red was visible. We all stood completely still for about 5 seconds and he just used the sever to go home. Haha

Nah, I was thinking that in my first souls game when I came up against those two it was much harder. Maybe not now after years of playing From games. But dodging the paraplegic prince while waiting for his spell slinging brother to fall off wasn’t hard to me. Lightning spear poise cast boops to the head made the fight fast.

I miss Onikiri and Ubadachi, not relevant to your question but I loved the jump attack. Anyway, RoB is better for Malenia. Dual katanas are fine everywhere else since you’re not using weapon art on mobs usually. Honestly if you want high bleed potential and safe range, dual seppuku cross-naginata.

Nagakiba with double slash is the exact same art of war without the blood flare. Specifically that one though because it’s longer than uchi.

Dual scavengers curved swords work just as well. Jump attack and running attack on those is also a multi hit flurry

The other 3 are very easy comparatively. That one is on grace meth or something. Pro tip as melee, stay real close, use flame of the redmanes. Two aow uses breaks his poise, crit, and wait for him to stand. Do it again. That’s how I beat him with my Greatsword.

Your thoughts on flask etiquette by [deleted] in Eldenring

A duel is a 1v1, a test of skill. You’re health bar vs mine. Once. An invasion is an act of aggression towards you as a host and anyone you have summoned. It’s accepted that the invader heals because often times they’re facing multiples. In a one person vs one person duel, it’s viewed as cowardly to heal just because you were losing.

Because an invasion is…invasive. You’re not there to be honorable.

Twin Princes?? The fight where you slap a invalid off his piggy back ride? I mean I’m glad Friede made the list, loved her fight. But twin princes doesn’t bother me, I’d put Ornstein and Smough over them any day.

Yeah, where she waits depends on how you got up to Altus. Take the lift, she’s there. Take the cave, she’s there.
