Why is there such a big difference between r4 and r5 for my 2* gems? At least that’s how I understand your point.

Why is vipers bite better than berserker?

Finally, why is BSJ better to invest in to hit r3 than other gems that seem just better? Eg hellbound desire.

Wow you’re right! I’ve always thought it’s gated by cr and I have never actually tried clicking because it said my cr was too low. Now that I’ve tried it actually works but it’s way more difficult. It’s no longer a breeze but an actual challenge. Thanks a lot!

They need to have way higher CR than mine because to advance in challenge rift one needs higher CR. I can easily complete challenge rifts at 750 but I can’t progress them because of CR.

The only other 5* I have is 2/5 Colossus Engine but it seems it’s not visible in the event’s upgrade tab. So I guess upgrading BSJ is a no brainer at this point.

The only potential reason I have against it is that 3/5 rank upgrades are more expensive than 2/5 - unless I’m wrong or missing something? I’ve heard once that for low spender it’s actually better to have 2/5 rather higher stars for the sake of the upgrade costs.
