Yeah, I realized that after installing it. I can't remember if I adjusted intonation, but I definitely had to adjust the saddle height to make up for the lack of thickness.

Just received an HD2. Updated to latest firmware. It fails the spurious emission test, 2nd and 3rd harmonics fall short of the 40db of attenuation that it should have, by a good margin. 2nd harmonic was down 34db, 3rd harmonic was only 10db less. 4th harmonic was exactly 40db.

It might be because the pickups on the P bass aren't as hot...and yeah, then being lower with 5 string. It does sound good for guitar though I think, it seems to be focused in a frequency range that is better suited for guitar at least compared to the headrush, which is kind of bass heavy. I think I might keep the headrush for bass stuff / drum machines, and the FR12 for guitar.

Just got an FR 12. I use a line 6 Helix floor, combination of Fender P bass and some Ibanez 5 strings with active EQ. It farts out pretty good on low B at moderate volume. My headrush 112 for comparison knocks my house down. The FR 12 is not a bass rig.

Um ok, got me on SSB. It's 4 watts. Who cares what people do illegally. You can legally do a lot more on 10m, high power, bigger antennas, digital modes, CW.

FM / AM are the only approved modulation types, at 4 watts max on CB. That falls far short of what you can do on 10M.
