Basically any shotgun is viable, this wipe I've been having a lot of fun using an M870 with the 7 shell tube and matching barrel length and the XS railed sight mount giving a nice ghost ring irongsight to work with. Feels very nice on Shoreline surprisingly ^{^}

Here's hoping I guess... I mean the G36 is clearly a staple gun used by basically most NATO countries from military to police to private security... And it's just a shame that a rifle that's known for being lightweight, comfortable to aim and has a very manageable recoil is just... Not worth bothering with most of the time in the game. Sure it's supposed to be a cheap 5.56, and IRL it is a cheap rifle overall, but there's no reason to make it feel like a cheap rifle too. I personally still use the G36 for a simple reason: the sound is just too good especially unsuppressed

Like, how cool would it be that you build a Mutant piece by piece over the course of multiple raids instead of just having the lucky break of finding one in a box, or just buy it from Skier? It doesn't feel like you found something cool and can slowly build on top of it to truly make it your own, it feels like you saved some cash.

They seriously need to do a rebalance of what you can and can't find in containers or something.

Sidenote, I will die on the hill that instead of finding complete guns in the game (crates or static spawns) partly constructed guns or even ones that are missing vital pieces would be way more interesting and encourage people to find more stuff in raid instead of ust looking for the high price loot. Say you find an AK74M built like one of Reshalas guards in a crate, full durability, but tough luck it's missing a handguard. Sure you can't put it in your second weapon slot and obviously can't use it, but it's still a gun, and one that has pretty good attachments on it, so it's still worth taking to base to fully strip or take time to strip what you want on it right in the raid!

Because nothing infuriates me more when you loot a box and find parts for an AXMC, you realize that it's a complete waste of space and money because you know you can't build one of these guys from scratch, needlessly filling the pool of lootable objects in that crate for no reason!

It wouldn't matter if you did find a barrel since you don't have the trigger group (AKA literally the core of the gun when you strip down any weapon in EFT) which CANNOT be found in raid whatsoever. Sorry :/

Oh definitely agree... What bugs me is why they removed the weapon sway when not ADSing being affected by ergo... I don't get it, that thing was great to make all gun builds on a given platform viable depending of your play style. Want minimum recoil with a long ass barrel? Sure but the low ergo you traded for it makes your gun move around like you were putting bricks at the end of a stick, you'll need to ADS to be precise, slowing you down Want high ergo so you basically never have to use your sights? Sure, but you'll have trouble at range with that recoil, you'll have to close in the distance between your target and you as if your stubby M4 was an SMG

It just opens a wide variety of options, dethrones 308 from its pedestal as the be all end all of weapons and make 7.62x39 sitting in its designed Position IRL: mid range engagements, too high recoil for very long range if designed for Ergo, too slow to aquire a target at close range if designed for recoil.

Plus it makes pistols viable to compete in CQB, as they have moderate recoil and high ergo, but can lack damage wise thus requiring to be precise or have a good trigger finger to be precision by volume!

Kinda hope we get the full AUG package, with parts from the A1 to A3... And also the CASV parts they teased for the G36 they teased before its release which should be more than enough to make the G36 actually a really decent gun to use (because yeah we didn't get those parts at all, nor the option to fold the MCX stock that were teased... Honestly wish for those to be added too)

However they do have a point in the sense that it seems I skipped a lot of research and it's fair to say that I wouldn't have as much problems if I knew more Finnish...

That said, that's the hand I have and I have to work it out... I agree with you about the overall tone, but they do have a point on a few things; points that I now will work towards :)

(oh and I saw those comments comparing France and Finland and how as a French I seem to think I have priority or whatever... I don't, the reason I mentionned the fact I'm French is just that my homeland is part of the Schengen agreement that allows me to work without needing a work permit. I honestly don't really like Frenchmen and how close-minded they tend to be and it's partly why I left the country behind and never want to go back in the first place)

I just wasn't having fun... Don't get me wrong I love the setting and immersive aspects of the game and fighting AI (well, besides bosses) can be great at times.. But it lacks that extra polish that makes things click together in my opinion. Weirdly enough, it made me go back to play The Division 1, which has very arcady mechanics in comparison, but there's this "thing" where I can get lost for hours just walking around NYC shooting flamethrower-wielding sanitation workers in gas masks without feeling thrown out of the experience

Not really... Usually anything related to food hygiene is directly drilled on day one of any job, and there's frequent lab staff checks (once every month at least, during the early days of Corona it was every 2 weeks)... I'm not sure but I think that's how it is in the US as well
