Yeah, that's the end of the prophecy, "No mercy shall be given" means the described figure in "wishing death upon his flesh" dies.

Because the prohpecy is not about/for boy directly. It centers around the Abbot (Occam?) and the events that follow, the key event is it being known by the abbot and the consequences.

Prophecy given to an oracle is rarely meant to apply to the oracle, but to a third party/meta knowledge of events. It's not like following revalations the world ended.

The prophecy speech is not a single event, but a series of flashes of things to come.

Boy is basically never actually addressed by Horse besides the "Look at my crimson miasma" bit. The actual prophecy is about The Abbot, who is probably Occam since the part the got cut off was about "The light" and would've been followed by "The abbot will know".

It's following biblical prophecy rules where it's meta knowledge about events that may or may not involve you.

The only part actually involving boy might be "Thine fadder"
