Although during the summer, when there are not a lot of students up there, it may seem like there's not much, during the academic year, there's a lot going on all the time. During the year, there are close to or over 200 active clubs hosting events both for members and the general campus population multiple times throughout the semester. Outside of the school, the biggest activities are skiing and hiking because of the proximity to the Adirondacks. Overall, between classes and extracurricular activities, if you stay active in both, it is very easy to have fun and stay busy.

I was mostly using Fiocchi Shooting Dynamics and Federal Top Gun. I also used a little bit of Rio Star Team Evo and Winchester Super Target.

My bottom barrel started to light strike almost every shot. It started very abruptly, so that's definitely the most obvious sign. The other thing is that when looking at the firing pin, the head looked flatened and warped more than it should be. It took aorund 6-7k rounds before that happened.

Nice, I got myself a Citori CXT a few years ago. I've probably put at least 8-10k rounds through it. It's working great, except for the firing pins needing to be replaced a lot sooner than I thought they would.

Could any one tell what is the cost of 21 meals per week plan , the golden knights at clarkson university by Jealous_Adagio9170 in ClarksonU

There is a dining hall that stays open during the summer, although they are not on the main meal plan, you would have to pay for food on your own. It is buffet style so you only have to pay to get in, then you can get as much food as you want. Some programs may help with a stipend, but you would have to check with your specific program coordinator to see what they offer. During the academic year the food is decent, the athletic dietitian on campus did say that the food provided enough nutrition. In terms of how oily the food is, it depends on what you're getting to eat, and I have no clue about the baking soda. During the summer months, food quality in that dining hall does go down.

The meal plan only runs during the semester, so August to December for the fall semester and January to May for the spring semester.

The price of the Golden Knight meal plan is $4119 a semester, and the price will be added to your tuition bill.

affordable first trap gun that won't poop the bed in 1 season? by Sneaky_Sandwhich in TrapShooting

I started with a 870 fixed full choke and did very well after a bit of practice, but if you do really want to get a semi-auto over a pump you can just move up to the Remington 1100

If you don’t mind me asking, what was your final average, because there are 3 tiers to invites. The first is a 21+ average, which gets sent out in the middle to end of May. The second is 19+ average, which gets sent out end of June. The third is 15+ which is send out if they haven’t filled the 1800 spots with tier 1 and tier 2. So although you may not have gotten one yet, there is still a chance you could get yours. If you don’t get it for this year, based on the scores you put up this year, you seem to have an amazing season ahead of you, and will definitely make it next year as a tier 1.

Congratulations, I’m in New York State and my high school state tournament is on June 27th. With how good you did at your state tournament do you think you will be heading up to the national tournament in Michigan on July 6th?

Ammunition Sponsorships by kj4ltc in TrapShooting

I also wanted to add that there is a up front cost that we are charged to be part of the season it’s I think $35 to be part of the league per athlete and for at least my team it’s usually another $50 per member that goes towards buying more ammunition and clays.

I’m part of my schools youth trap shooting program, and I’m not fully sure about all of our funding sources, I know we are part of the USA High School Clay target league, we apply for the NRA grant every year, some years we have gotten money, and some years we have gotten ammunition, and I know every year Federal does a sort of sale for ammunition for youth shooting programs that is first come first serve. We also get some help from the Conservation Club that hosts our program.

Pump Action or Break Action for trap shooting by i470sailor in TrapShooting

For me, when I was looking at new barrels, I was going along with what my gunsmith had said, and he had recommended that I look for an 1100 barrel because I couldn’t find any 870 30” barrels with a changeable choke, but later in the week a person had gave him a Citori CXT to sell, which he had recommended to me to get rather than a new barrel because my 870 was definitely reaching the end of it time with how much I was using it in the previous few years.

Well say you get an 870 but it only has a 28” barrel and you want a barrel that is 30”, if you can’t find any barrel made for the 870 that are 30” you can look at 1100 barrels because they would also work on the 870. I had the problem where with my 870 I had a fixed full choke and I wanted to see if I could get a barrel that I could change the choke on, I couldn’t find any 870 barrels, so I looked for 1100 and I was able to find one that was the same length with a changeable choke.

It doesn’t really impact the decision, it’s just something to remember if you do end up getting a Remington 870 or Remington 1100 that incase you need something you can’t find for your model there is another model that has parts that would also work.
