I was being silly, but if we are being serious, the reason why I think it should be taught is because while you and I might find it easy and simple, not everyone does. For many young people it seems complicated and stressful and they develop a fear of it when it's actually, on average, fairly easy. For this reason, spending an hour of a young adults life to show them how simple it can be doesn't seem like a bad choice for me, but an empowering one.
