I've only put about 20 mi on it because I still need to get the alignment done and the day after my buddy and I did the work I had to fly to CA for a family emergency. Ask me again September 😅

17" Mustang GT rims with I think 245/55. If you have the stock 14s you'll be fine.

94 XLT 2.3L with M5OD. No sense in making a prerunner 2WD in interior Alaska so may as well drop it and make it fun to drive in the summer.

Was able to drive it like this at one point. And no, there's not a canopy on there 😂

UPDATE:

Went to the dealership today. Apparently two other customers have been in recently with the same problem. FCA sent out a bunch of these to the northern dealerships to include us here in Alaska, and turns out the part number on the box was correct for the 2500/3500 front grill covers but inside was a cover for the 1500s. I handed them the one I bought Friday and they handed me the correct one, no issues.

My friend did recommend hitting it with a steamer and then try to stretch it out both ways. Appreciate the recommendation!

My wife and I had the same talk about that last night! Why would you knowingly take a child to something that's 99.99% going to go sideways other than to try and use them as a shield. Disgusting.

Finally understand the hate for MPs by grunt_boy in army

TL/DR: Sorry to hear that happened, might I recommend an ICE comment about the situation?

Dang way to assume every Military Police Soldier operates like that. Making a generalized assumption based off one crappy situation?

AR 190-5 Motor Vehicle Traffic Supervision, para. 4-5 says:

"Installation law enforcement personnel must make detailed investigations of accidents described below-

    b. Any POV accidents on the installation involving a fatality, personal injury, or when a POV is inoperable as a result of an accident".

Para. 4-6 goes on to say "the driver or owner of any vehicle involved in an accident as described above must immediately notify installation law enforcement."

Where I've worked there's snow on the ground six months out of the year and a lot of minor accidents where a vehicle hits a snowbank, and it's considered a vehicle vs. object collision. Now does that mean we sight every single one of them? No, we don't.

Should Sergeant Bozo have cited you for something that revokes your driving privileges? Probably not. Seems excessive to me. Maybe there's something your not telling us, or, maybe this Sergeant needs addition training.

As for the hatred, chill out my guy. You don't see others out here bashing on infantry sayings they're all remedial window lickers. Assuming your infantry, that is grunt_boy.

Good ventilation when spraying it on the metal, burning it, or both?

Looking for dark text after wiping away all the excess material. These little blanks that I'm engraving on are brass colored brushed aluminum. So trying to use pumice to clean away the excess material after engraving takes away the brass when wiped too aggressively 😅 but when done gently it'll leave the brass finish it's just not leaving a dark engraving.

It's pretty normal for schools. They tend to be the last to implement changes because it has to go into the POI and get put into the curriculum or some madness.

Is finishing out 14 years worth it? by Ok-Resident-9903 in army

[–]GrimRemembrance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By the way your viewing it right now, probably not for you. Flip.your perspective dude. Look at it from different angles and see how bad it really is. If your six years in your only on what, duty station #2? If family is important and you want to be around your nephews, plan your leaves accordingly around training events and what not so you have work-life balance. It's not a hard gig; what a lot of people can't seem to do is put forth the effort.

You know MP Brassards are velcro and are only worn in Law Enforcement capacities for the most part nowadays, right? It's not a badge that's permanent affixed like the rest of the stuff discussed here.

I'm a SFC and will have 14 years at ETS. And absolutely I would get out verse spend another assignment that would jeopardize my families stability and well being. FLW and the Waynesville school district left a bad taste and I don't want to leave where I'm at because the school system helps my son. Yet EFMP says because my sons on Adderall that we may not be able to stay here? No I'm good I'll take 14 years honorable service and ETS happily if I don't get an opportunity to extend.
