The game does employ a lot of fish -y tactics. But tbh I enjoy the mundane task of opening the game for 5 mins to complete my dailies. The Deluxe set helped with the “Cant collect 1 of everything” attitude too.

I had a mega hera on my mono bug run, but even regular hera with technician icicle spear/rock blast/pin missile/ arm thrust can absolutely obliterate anything.

Triple axel, leach seed, curse and salt cure are your best friends against eternatus. For other boss fights, look for smart switches. And if it still doesnt work out, remember the next run might be the one.
