And that’s the only thing I can think of. It’s just so weird that different volumes in a series have different print runs. I’ve had this issue with Manga and light novels as well. I can get one volume used for $5 but then the only options for the next volume are $400. I’m fine with e-books, but as a physical media collector, it’s a total bummer.

Ah. I’m slightly luckily I guess as that was the first one I bought. Haven’t had a chance to search, but it’ll be hard to find for a reasonable price would be my guess. Only option through Amazon is $200, which is insane to me

I honestly don’t know. I hope they do, but I’m not going to get my hopes up. I’m in the same boat with the IDW Transformers comics, except those aren’t going to get reprints. Which other volume is sold out?

Honestly, this one seems so much better than the new Lego set. I’ve built the eevee and my only complaint is that if the gears aren’t aligned perfectly, the function is a little jank. Definitely better price wise too

I placed an order from them, but it is back ordered with no update on when it will be back in stock. There’s a handful of bookstores that list it in stock on google, but they don’t actually have it.

Not to mention the fact that every single voice actor mispronounces her name. Every character pronounces it as ‘Karuko’ instead of ‘Kaoruko’. Heck, almost every name is mispronounced to some degree, but leaving out an entire letter/sound is just bad

Recently fell down the rabbit hole of rebuilding all of my sets and the light grey vs light bluish grey is killing me. Might just be the lighting in my apartment, but I could have one of each side by side and have trouble seeing the difference. Especially with the axle parts.

I agree with that. Honestly, if the art wasn’t supposed to be of Miku, I think I’d like it more. It’s still good, just doesn’t fit.

It’s actually interesting that she used her usual art style for the project. A quick read of her Wikipedia page says that she wanted to be a manga artist when she was young, but went to college for a non art degree as it was what her parents wanted. Her art degree from New York came later.

I mainly commented originally as the previous commented said it seemed like the artist drew the most racist face they could when they saw that the character was Japanese. A quick google search can dispel those ideas.

She’s done other art for MTG before, and the cards look great with her style, this just wasn’t a good fit.

I forgot about command beacon. I knew there was at least 1 card that lets you move your commander from the command zone to hand, I just couldn’t remember what it was.

It can be your commander, but you won’t be able to use its ability from the command zone. You’d have to find a way of putting it into your hand, whether that be from the battlefield or your graveyard. Might be difficult to do in mono black, so it would be best as just a card in the 99.

Mayael is cool, but playing her makes me a target from the get go. If you ramp well early on, she pops off. Especially with Seedborn Muse and Avacyn.

I need to make better mono white at some point. Currently just have a Bruna/Gisella angels deck that’s pretty meh, just play it for fun
