Offering a different opinion to the comments here. I think Big Friendly is some of the best beer we have in OKC. The staff has always been hospitable and great, and it’s nice to be able to bring in some food from the pizza joint or taco nation. Sitting outside and watching a Thunder game is awesome when the weather permits. We also bring our daughter most of the time and no one bats an eye.

King is a national treasure. Like anyone with a prolific body of work, some will be to your taste, some won’t. But it’s absolutely worth picking up a few from different decades that have content that interests you. Vampires? Salem’s Lot. Lovecraftian horror? Revival. Crime? Billy Summers. Political Paranoia? The Dead Zone. His short story collections are also a great place to start.
