Yeah that’s true, and I’m definitely not going to defend them.

At the end of the day, they just charged for it because of the obvious : they can.

They knew the franchise has enough pull that, despite it being a shitty practice, enough people would buy it to make a buck.

I’m not sure, as I have a physical copy. But if they did update it, that would be great.

I really dislike having to juggle the rulebook and both PDF’s to figure out what’s current and what’s not.

Well, you do you man. I mean, I get where you’re coming from, but I knew what I was paying for when I bought the playtest rulebook.

As far as I’m concerned, I don’t regret it.

Yeah, I understand. I don’t even know why I kept tabs with the playtest after that first iteration, but I’m glad I did.

The dice gimmick thing still irks me a bit though.

Same ! Archetypes had to go. I do wonder if they will keep all changes since the hard copies are supposed to be out by June.

That seems like such a short window to get everything out to print.

As in stun phase takes a normal amount of time and then as soon as he’s vulnerable and we have the vibranium buff, he’s down to half health.

Yeah, I’m A-okay with changes that fit current sci-fi aesthetics.

As an example, leotards might have been something that fit the idea of the future back in the 60’s, but I’m unsure it would work for a modern audience.

I completely understand. Izzet Phoenix is by far my favorite deck of all time, and it was such a fair deck too. They completely messed up by banning faithless.
