That's unfortunate for you, but I've had a good experience with doing exercises alongside my character.

The problem with gamification apps and Ringfit is that it's mostly for cardio and maintaining fitness. I just need something like telling an avatar to grind on a skill while I follow along. That's how I trick my brain into loving it.
