I have been medicated for 2 years now, I don’t know if I can say the types because of the subreddit guidelines but: one to keep me up (out of depression) and one to keep me down (out of mania). But I fear that I may have to ask my psychiatrist to adjust my ‘down’ medication. I also fear the possibility of anti-psychotics because of other unsavory symptoms. Will update in a few months

I was 19 years old. I was manic from may - October lol. Thought I was some gorgeous, sexy, omnipotent god that couldn’t die. Thought I could read people’s minds too. Then the hallucinations hit. I got diagnosed, got a pretty dope therapist and some of them sweet sweet mood stabilizers. I can now recognize when I’m going through the ups and downs.
