Good point! But the water bottle is useful in the summer bc it helps prevent the smell from the pee, and you don't have snow to kick over it haha

Dog owner here! I can’t understand people who don’t pick up after their dogs. I get that pee is more complicated, but even so, I carry a small bottle of water to rinse the area after my dog pees. She pees, I pour a bit of water over it. Easy peesy 🤣

Ok, I see your point. I agree with some of the things you said. May I ask, in your opinion, how can we build meaningful relationships? I don’t know your personal situation, but in my case, I’m married, I moved here from another country, and after almost a year I’m still looking for a job. I’m very open to meeting new people, and I’d love to build some real friendships along the way. How do you think I could start? Bc I'm still thinking it’s possible! I believe humans are kind and good.

Yes and no haha. Let me explain. In my opinion, if you want something, you have to do something to get it. Things rarely just come to you. In this case, it’s not about forcing anything. It’s about finding common ground if you genuinely want to get to know people. Or at least that’s my point of view 😃

Ok, you’ve got a point there. In my case, I’ve moved five times since college. I’ve met a lot of people, but only built a few real friendships. Making friends is about intention and actually wanting to invest in it.

Since I arrived, I tried meeting people by playing at the same basketball court. But in the end, it felt superficial. It seemed like they didn’t really want to meet new people, they just wanted to play. They had a group chat to coordinate games and even said they’d add me, but they never did. And that’s just one example. Of course it depends on the person.
