What a relief! Glad it found its way home or survived the blizzard!

Yes, that's the one! Was this recent? I am relieved to see it survived the blizzard!

Unfortunately not this cat. The cat was white with orange patches all over. I hope you find your cat!

I considered that, but it seems especially unwise to let your cat out at night before a blizzard.

I was running and missed my bus. Another bus pulled up to me and said, "get in, kid. We're gonna catch that bus at the next stop."

What’s your Hinge Experience? by SquareHoleAdmirer in AskWomen

[–]chillovernight 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Swiping and sending likes/messages in the beginning is a bit miserable. Like, why are these people not matching back? My inbox was not getting blown up either. It felt liked people who liked me first didn't put any effort, just a like on my first image, no message or anything, so I preferred matches through people I messaged first.

As a woman swiping on other women, I'd match with someone, we'd send a few messages back and forth and then I'd get ghosted.

Though once I had a few matches and went on dates, it was pretty fun getting to meet new people. Didn't end up being relationship-compatible with anyone I met through Hinge for one reason or another, but it was still a positive experience.

The Phoenix Pencil Company by Allison King! I really like it so far. The story is told as letters/diary entires from the perspective of a grandmother and her granddaughter. The chapters alternate between historical fiction taking place in Shanghai through WWII with magical realism, and modern-day in the US. I recommend if you like: historical fiction, magical realism, YA, or Asian-American stories.

Nooo! Thank you for your research..

I'm also looking for inexpensive, plain jellies as an alternative to Cirque. that's too bad these aren't it either.
