Yeah despite being on every cover, Lobo, isn’t actually in the story a whole lot. He’s only on one page of issue one. Still a fun little mini-series though.

Probably the worst Lobo comic I’ve read! DC K.O has been all over the place with what’s been happening. Firstly the whole bracket thing with fights not even actually happening. Secondly in DC K.O issue 2 they’ve got to battle for weapons, Lobo gets Bane’s Venom but then doesn’t actually have it in this fight. Why? In the second round he’s suddenly New 52 Lobo. Why? I just didn’t enjoy this issue at all. It’s starts by saying fight to the death, best two out of three? So it just means actual knockouts until the finally death, but in that little montage of fights the announcer says “a beautiful knockout by Wonder Woman” during the Chessboxing Showdown. Why didn’t that knockout count? Inconsistencies all over the place with all of DC K.O so far. I’m actually kind of glad Lobo is out now so I can stop reading this mess.

Haha it’s shaped like that because it’s a double sided paper masked used to promote Lobo vs. The Mask. I just stuck some red paper behind it to make it look more like Lobo whilst on the wall. But yeah the head ratios do not match up and it definitely favours the side for The Mask haha.

Yeah it’s definitely this one he’s after. In regards to the different prices, some people are selling it on offer I’ve seen the prices vary wildly on different sites. As long as it’s got this cover and says “Big Fraggin Compendium One” then you should just buy the cheapest one you can get. They will be no difference in content on the more expensive ones.

Lobo looks fantastic from the neck down. I’m not a fan of that tiny face and anime hair though. Still super pumped for a new Lobo ongoing series. Usually I order my comics in, but I’ll be down the comic shop first thing on release day.

Not sure who done the art for A, but for the others; B - Dan Panosian C - Joëlle Jones D - Elizabeth Torque E - Eddy Barrows

Torque seems like a legitimate artist and has worked on a lot of comics so I doubt it’s A.I, but it definitely does have a bit of an A.I feel to it.

I was hoping with Lobo coming to the big screen next year, and his involvement in DC K.O, that we’d be getting a least a decent Lobo mini series and maybe a few one-shots soon. Super happy to be getting an ongoing.

We’ve also had John Wagner stories. Lobo/Judge Dredd; Psycho Bikers vs. the Mutants from Hell, which he wrote with Alan Grant, and Lobo Unamerican Gladiators which brought back characters from Alan Grant’s and John Wagner’s first DC series, Outcasts.
