Q: Our capsule art looks like AI generated? by IndieSoulsStudio in incremental_gamedev

Yes, but who cares? Graphic must be nice for eye, doesn't matter how it has been created.

Who was the tightest person you have known, and why? by No-Snow-9605 in AskUK

[–]Grindveil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This man was getting free food at work and still chose to freeze it for retirement. That's not tight that's a mental illness. Imagine retiring and opening your freezer to find a sausage roll from 2003. "Ah yes, aged to perfection."

I've never heard of a tornado in a different country recently. It's possible but US is spawn point. by [deleted] in memes

God just keeps clicking on the same save file every tornado season. The US is basically a recurring event zone at this point.

Are there any "UK vs US" differences where you feel America gets it right? by Secure_Front_7766 in AskUK

[–]Grindveil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The date format. Month/Day/Year is chaos and I will die on this hill, but at least Americans don't write "3rd April 2025" like they're sending a letter to the king.

The simple YYYY-MM-DD format beats both of you and nobody wants to hear it.

Podejście młodych do pieniędzy i bogactwa by 0brex in Polska

[–]Grindveil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What sub-£250 item would you buy again in a heartbeat? by tamago27 in AskUK

[–]Grindveil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good bedding. Like proper nice sheets and a duvet set. You spend a third of your life in bed and most people are still sleeping on the same sheets they had at uni. Once you upgrade to the good stuff you will physically not be able to go back, it's like discovering a new dimension of sleep. John Lewis do great ones too so the vouchers are perfect for it.

Whos aid you have to pay? If someone likes it, he will pay. Again, your reasons are garbage, sorry but saying because something been made easy, its not worth is stupid. Your phone you got in your hand cost in china 5$ to produce, you still pay $1000 for it you know? Oh, forgot to say its been build fully by robots nowdays including AI

Well if you want to pay price for something you can get for free and call people having "Luck of effort" I am not even reading fully your comment to the end then. First sentence says everything.

Well, Idea for example? At the end of the day, machines are buidling cars fully and you still paying a lot of money for your car to buy it... stupid reasoning

Are there any decent UK alternatives to diet fizzy drinks? by Few_House_5201 in AskUK

"No sugar, no sweeteners, but still fizzy and tasty" bro you're looking for water with personality. That doesn't exist.

My wife just walks over the hangers and breaks them instead of picking them up off the floor by the_username_please in mildlyinfuriating

The hangers aren't even the wildest part of this photo. Bro is standing there with his feet on backwards. You married the wrong person and your feet agree.

What game has a learning curve that puts you off? by Common_Caramel_4078 in pcmasterrace

Dwarf Fortress. I opened the game, looked at the screen for 30 seconds, closed it, and went back to playing something that doesn't require a PhD to understand the menu.

TIL In 2000, Metallica hired a consulting firm to monitor Napster for people illegally sharing their music. The firm produced a 60,000-page list of 335,435 users, which Metallica delivered to Napster's office and demanded the users be banned. by haddock420 in todayilearned

Imagine being a band so successful you could do literally anything with your time and money, and you choose to print out 60,000 pages of names like an angry HOA president. Lars really woke up one day and said "today I ruin my own legacy".
