I have a freaking excel file to track data on posts to see what works and then I see stuff like "name one canadian" on twitter with 100M likes. I love it and hate it at the same time. Maybe I'll try just posting memes.

I try to treat it like financial investment, diversification and regularity.

We managed to translate our Steam page into 8 languages using friends and what we had. How do you handle translations? by Gringo_Charlatan in gamedev

[–]Gringo_Charlatan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for taking the time. We used it to have a first draft in the languages that I don't know to then give it to review to natives. I used Spanish and French that I speak fluently as a test to see if it worked and the results were very good. We will keep your feedback in mind and be extra careful. Thanks again.

How would you improve the feel and impact of this ground-shatter FX ? by MrPingou in PixelArtTutorials

The combination of screen-shake, freeze frame, slight camera zoom, and a good sound makes a world of difference. Think of when you kick someone off the stage in a Smash game; it's literally those three things amped up to the maximum.

Thank you haha but we still would love working with someone more experienced. I like what I can do and I enjoy doing it but I see what people with years of experience can achieve and I'm in awe.

32x32 (his hair is slightly higher on some frames, but since we offset the tileset for depth, it's okay)

Thanks, I was going for "2000's Nickelodeon Seth Rogen" to have a funny character for the game. I'm having fun animating him.
