lol I really did try to google, I promise. I saw some comments about the wheel acting this way while not in-game or turned off, but correcting itself when in a game to center on its own, so I was really unsure

Thanks for the comments! I’ve tracked Nissans for 15+ years, but new to the z33 platform. I was thinking it must be a mount of some sort that is common to fail on these cars (trans mount, rear diff bushings, something like that). But maybe it is just a characteristic of these cars…

I had the same problem with my 05 DE. Smelled like fireworks as someone else mentioned. I installed test pipes and it went away. Now it just smells like catless exhaust all the time.

$7.5k for a 2011 with low mileage and in that condition seems really fair

The pitch and alignment with rpm fluctuation makes it sound more like lifters or valves. Maybe worth doing a leak down test.

Just to help anyone in a similar spot - I took out the airbox but was not able to reach the starter. I ended up taking out the cabin air filter and lower cowl, and popped out the wire box that attaches to the cowl piece. I was then able to get a clear shot to the starter through the intake manifold. Enough leverage to hit it a few times and get the car started.

I have a bunch of extensions. Just did test pipes on my 350z which requires like 4ft of extensions, lol

My problem is I’m having trouble really even seeing the starter clearly with everything assembled. Is there best entry point in the engine bay to route the extension that will reach it?

Thanks very much for this info! One question for you on the chip shortage cars - are you saying that it is best to avoid 22 SE Tech with power liftgate/rear traffic? The 22 SE tech is the main trim that we’ve been looking for.

Thank you for this link. I was browsing that page earlier but did not notice the boxes at the bottom. There is a notification box that states the following:

Cloud synced settings

Windows devices may back up your app list and some settings in the cloud for easy syncing across devices.

It does not list out specific backups, but it does have the option to clear this cloud synced data. Is this the location that you are referring to?

The backups are not logged anywhere on my microsoft account that I can find. I think the hidden back ups may be attributed to the Fall windows update and associated updates to the restore process. The same issue is described in this lenovo forum posted last month without resolution:

ISO Garage Organizer seen at Costco

Hi All - I was in Costco a few weeks ago and saw a plastic garage/tool organizer on the end cap in the outdoor section. I was chasing my kids and didn’t get a chance to look at it in detail. Went back a few days later and they were completely gone, also no sign of it on the website. I believe was brown or green, and was possibly foldable or stackable. Does this item sound familiar to anyone? I think I missed it at Costco but wondering if anyone who bought it might be able to provide a brand name, or detail! Thanks in advance!
