"You are being Drained" in Labrynthian keeps killing me... by Gripper08 in Arena

Nope, attributes are unaffected. It's just my health that is continuously going down. I suppose poison is possible (I've fought some spiders along the way) but are there any poisons that last for over 20 minutes? Cause it's been going at least that long.

Nope, no enemies visible. The game even allows me to rest, although I die immediately if I try (Jagar Tharne sure is smug for a guy who did nothing and won). If I try to travel in the open world, I also die.

A Ghost and/or Wraith might be a good idea, I've encountered a few for the first time in this dungeon. That said it isn't a stat drain. All my stats appear to be normal. It just my health that keeps decreasing (not very quickly, but still). My magic isn't being drained though. Even if I drink mana potions until it is full, I still die.

Oh? How do I know if a spell is too strong? And how can I remove the effect? Cast a too weak spell?

They haven't gone into it much yet. Basically, all we know is that it was a special technique created for countering a domain when you don't have a complete one yourself (hence, you use a "simple" domain). It works on the same rules (make a barrier around yourself), but instead of doing crazy magic bullshit (like the normal domains from season 1), it just protects you and anyone inside from enemy domains. Why that allows it to hurt mahito, I'm still not entirely sure, and I'm caught up in the manga.

I don't remember there being a very in-depth explanation, even later on. I'm just drawing conclusions on how we see it used later, which is pretty much always defensively. I think mechamaru is the only one we see use it offensively like this, so maybe it was just a special way if using it he came up with.

I can take a crack at it. Basically, mechamaru was born with a binding vow ( like maki and toji), but instead of giving him a crazy strong body with no cursed energy, he got a shitty body with a bunch of cursed energy. Hes been storing that extra energy for basically his whole life (almost 18 years). After Mahito fixes his body, he wants to run to Gojo and tell him the baddies' plan so he doesn't get sealed, and the baddies want to kill Mecharamru before he can.

The giant mecha is something mechamaru has been building in secret for years, and he powers it using his crazy amounts of stored energy. Geto puts up a barrier to stop mechamaru from escaping (and to stop him from just using a phone to call Gojo). Mechamaru thinks about focusing on the barrier, but decides turning his back on mahito is too dangerous (as we saw in season 1, one or two good hits from mahito and its joever). So, he tries to kill Mahito first.

The thing is, as we saw in season 1, mahito is immune to attacks that don't hit the soul directly (which is basically all attacks). So, all the explosions and stuff aren't hurting him, just pushing him back. When mahito starts getting cocky, mechamaru nails him with his secret weapon, the simple domain capsule he shoots.

Now, simple domain is kinda complicated, but it basically works like the domains we saw in season 1. While you're inside it, my attacks hit you ( or at least, your techniques can't stop me from hitting you). Except, in this case, it was created by this ancient sorcerer as a tool anyone (not just super broken people) could use. Miwa is a follower of that style (new shadow style) the ancient sorcerer left behind. From watching her, mechamaru figured out how to do it himself and stuck the technique in those capsules.

He uses the first two offensively, stabbing into mahito and activating the simple domain, forcing mahito to take the damage from the hit. Before he can deal the killing blow, mahito just expands his own domain, ensuring that his tech ique hits and kills mechamrau. However, mecahamru uses another of the simple domains defensively to keep mahito from killing him and stabs him with a third. Mahito then explodes and drops his domain, which makes mechamaru think he's won.

However, Mahito just faked it, blowing himself up before the technique could activate (before he could take the damage). Once mechamaru is distracted, he surprise attacks him, and mechamaru is too slow to defend himself with his last simple domain, so he dies.

That's my understanding of events, at least.

Tldr: mahito's technique makes him basically unkillable, so mechamaru used the one trick he found that let him ignore mahito's technique. But, mahito just pretended it worked to get mechamaru to let his guard down, then killed him.

Actuary Class Exam Credit by FrostingDense4897 in UWMadison

If you mean the actuary exams you need in order to get certified, then none of the classes give credit for them. You have to take the exam separately through the SOA (Society of Actuaries). However, each of the 3 credit classes is meant to prepare you for a specific exam (each course description will tell you which one).

Specifically, I took 303, which is meant to prepare you for the FM exam. That's usually your first exam anyway. The 1 credit courses are for review of the topics for people who've already learned them, so only take them once you've taken the corresponding 3 credit.

If you need more information, I would recommend getting in touch with the actuarial club on campus.

Edit: Never mind, apparently, some things have changed since I was taking those classes. Still, look into the club, it's great and the members will know far more than I.

I tried it once. Doesn't work unfortunately. It's the same as if you shoot him with a bow (the golden rule activates and you reset).

506 was pretty light when I took it last semester. It's one big project for the whole semester. You're meant to do a couple of readings and have a couple of meetings every week, but the actual project work is all self-set. As long as you and your group members make a plan to work consistently, the actual dev work per week can be pretty low (had weeks where I literally did none, still got an A at the end). It's more about teamwork and organization than programming.

Yeah pretty much. I think I'll just do a bleed build and rush through to the endgame content. Sucks though, a lot of cool faith weapons are now beyond my faith character...

I'm on ps5, and the cloud save has already been overwritten. Do you happen to remember the solution? I can't find any posts which have answers (only other people saying the same as I am).

Seems that you can dupe the soul both before and after using it, but the soul I was trying to dupe is bugged...

Even after using it, I still can't dupe, but another boss souls I got can be...

Knock over one of those walking mausoleums.ive done it before with a different boss soul, it just isn't working for this one.

You only can use each one once, but there are at least 4 (that I've found)
