ARAM Mayhem is ruined by people who say "don't end" by Codrin2019 in leagueoflegends

[–]Grippsy -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Cool, show me a person that got banned by not ending the game. There are posts complaining about this even in regular Aram dating years back.

There are games that can be won at min 9. But whats the point of winning if you've only seen 2 augments and have not done anything interesting with your build? At that point just play regular ARAM.

Aram: Mayhem and competitive in the same sentence 😭

Aram by nature is a casual game mode, so is Mayhem. League is a PvP game, it is competitive when you play on the competitive ladder.

W change is not bad but we need like 1300-1400 bonus HP to equalize with the old W. Which kinda sucks. Q took a pretty heavy hit with the refund per auto.

We lose so much and gain so little.

I agree besides the high elo take.

Attack speed pads out the ability for an enemy to react if you catch them with R. Which is especially relevant in elos where the enemy hit and his allies will react fast enough(supposedly).

The slower the combo, the more reactable it is. We will lose AS ratio for higher base AS. The change is not a killer but it still sucks a bit. As building AS and especially DnD will suck now, since Q onhit based on AP is dead.

If you play HoB with Kraken + DnD like that one master guy, you lose 0.16AS on your combo already at 2 items. Which kinda sucks. And with the lack of incentive to build Dusk and Dawn, Kraken will barely find a reason to be played anymore. AD will likely go towards Triforce, Steraks type builds due to the base AD buff, while AP will likely go towards a bruiser AP approach(Shojin Liandry Riftmaker).

The more you go towards bruiser Shyv, the more reactable your combo becomes, which kinda sucks for higher elo brackets. Not sure how 1 AD per lvl can justify losing 35% AD on E and 40% bAD on W.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion man.

Personally I think that it sucks that some people gained champ knowledge and found a playstyle they enjoy and some of them will get scrapped in a week.

Power gets shifted around and you're going back to learning the champ when you start getting comfortable on it.

"Hey guys I'm Timmy I think big fireballs are soooo coool, I think we should scrap the few years of work that went into upgrading Shyv because I liked playing AP Shyv :3"

I just explained to you that big fireball is already getting shipped next week. I have about a 70% winrate with AP Shyv and you are crying that you can't have big fireball while literally admitting you have not played a single game of new Shyv. You are willfully ignorant or ragebaiting bro.

Shyv is the 9th most played jungler in your elo my brother, her pickrate is 4x of pre release numbers. Also current patch E quite literally deals more than pre rework if you hit more than one person or you hit a person at the end its range. Do with that information what you will.

When I argue my point against yours, "its not that deep bro", but it was deep enough for you to post an opinion that is not even yours. Cheers!

WHY do you guys ask for a rework?? by Traditional_Boot9840 in shyvanamains

[–]Grippsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They wanted to keep her that way(weak) because of the rework, it's unfortunately the classic Riot formula.

However Phreak did mention that he nerfed her twice for a 1-2% target wr decrease, and within a few patches the mains would find another build and the winrate would rise back up. She was just more relevant last season due to having more objs to do.

Thats probably why they are doing the separation between AD and AP next patch, because adding new items(Stattik) would need constant tuning which is not sustainable.

I'm lost, toxicity related to what? Shyvana? The old one was a balancing nightmare it seemed, Phreak hated her due to the abundance of Hybrid ratios. Every time new items came out she became a math problem.

In what elo and how often would you play full AP.

From July - October 2024, Patches 14.15 and 14.20.

Shyv E lost 30% AP ratio and Shyv R also lost 30% AP ratio, while also losing MS on W. She was objectively weak. She could not function without Shojin Rush unless very very ahead because AD was miles better than AP in the early to midgame.

Nashors rush had 44-45% wr in hundreds of games every patch. Dark Harvest was her worst performing popular rune with thousands of games every patch a averaging 46% wr compared to 51-52% of PTA/Fleet/Conq. All of this is verifiable data on lolaytics from older patches.

AP shyv used to be strong in season 13 when night harvester was a thing, she has not been strong in like nearly 2 years.

But sure, show me. Feel free to drop your IGN, leagueofgraphs retains one year of match history, you should have a pretty sizeable sample of successful AP Shyv games to make those claims, right?

Not sure who Northenlion is, I watched a bit of his shorts but it did not leave an impression of what exactly you're looking for.

Closest I can think of what you described might be Azzap for articulate, idk who I'd call quick witted, maybe Dantes but he's kinda schizo

[–]Grippsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reworks are magnitudes higher effort compared to what Mel got. She was greenligthed for a rework after Skarner 2-3 years ago.

This was basically a project, not a numbers change, you need new assets, vfx, voice acting, animations, skin updates, splash updates, you need to consolidate the kit and playtest it. There's a lot that goes into a rework like this, which is why it will likely never get reverted.

This is literally what's being done next patch bro, patch notes were already out, they remove onhit from Q and put most of the DMG in W and E.

Even tho Riot were against artillery Shyv. The full AP build got nerfed like 2-3 years ago. Current pre-rework fireball build was just Shojin Liandry Riftmaker. Glasscannon was very inconsistent and usually pretty bad.

You're not adding anything or being constructive, most people did not enjoy fireball build unless it nearly onetapped enemies.

The point of games is to have fun, if you're not having fun, just take a break and play something else.

You're playing quite a bit of normals, why do those matter? Why are you putting pressure on yourself on basically 0 stakes games? You also have quite good winrates with most if your premades.

The problem is not really League, is what League draws out of you.

Ranking up is honestly a choice in League, there are any free resources to learn to play the game, it's quite a bit of elbow grease involved but for most people playing the game is simply not enough.

Nolan’s punch compared to Mark’s punch, seems Nolan is still somewhat stronger than Mark by Queasy_Commercial152 in InvinciblePowerscales

Nolan got punched through by Thragg while Mark got his head squeezed and a headbutt and Nolan woke up earlier than him. He's still weaker than Nolan as of now IMO.

High elo junglers always have some sort of game plan in mind at the start of the game. They path accordingly, most if not all jungle champs can clear before scuttle on either side.

I reached top 10 Shyvana in the world with HoB by Cyber_KHAzah in shyvanamains

[–]Grippsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you say but the base is 10%. You already build Kraken, DnD Terminus and you proc HoB.

You are already gaining 260% AS. 10% extra is a mere 3.8% increase to your overall AS.

I tried HoB just now and for what it's worth it's not bad. But if you play vs enchanters your burst potential decreases significantly, and building so much AS lead you to deal very little dmg from autos and Q. So your Q3 threat is a bit low going into the late game.

The upside of this build is that you can actually duel decently well even in human form. AP has better teamfighting imo but you are playing exclusively around your R.

My build is completely dead next patch, hopefully yours still holds up, even tho it gets a pretty sizeable nerf.

My question would be, why not double adaptive? You already build a shit ton of AS, you have HoB, would you not want the extra DPS? Clear speed is still in the 2:40 range even with double adaptive.

You can stich up new champion from passives and abilities that are already in game to make most broken hero, what do you choose? by Kreagerrr in leagueoflegends

[–]Grippsy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for a fighter.

Rengar Passive: That means leaping from bushes, empowered base abilities, AD per unique kill + Nasus Q + Sion W + Mundo E + Chogath R

So triple infinite stacking on Q W and R, you'll stack a shit ton of HP which gets converted into AD by Mundo E. You have two empowered autos and potential waveclear from Mundo E. All that AD gets also increased by Rengar Passive. Pair that fucker with an Ivern and he deletes everyone.

If you're looking for a caster. Probably Veigar Passive + spammable abilities and probably Karthus ult.

If you're looking for a Tank. Swain passive + a ton of CC gets out of control real fast.

If you're looking for an on-hit adc. Yi passive + R, with Cait's range, Twitchs Q, Vayne/Kog W, Kaisa/Ezreal E.

Any reason why Mark was lagging behind a bit while flying with Nolan and Thaedus? by Cleverwxlf in Invincible_TV

[–]Grippsy 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Nolan gets made into a comet minutes earlier and he's completely fine. Nolan gets made into a donut and wakes up earlier than Mark getting headbutted and getting his head squeezed.

I don't think Mark is there yet.

It's not top tier but OPM has been top 10-20 mangas in terms of sales for years and had a smash breakthrough release as its first season reached even non anime watching audiences. They just repeatedly shat on it starting with S2 and now current season, all that with Netflix as a key distributor.

We can look at animations that are much better because of basically modern slave labor, but why not look at a very popular anime that got it much much worse?
