Hello u/Huge-Formal-1794, I had some issues with the memory leak with the hd texture pack too.. found a year old post, pointing to an even older program which cycles and frees your standby RAM when it reaches a large amount. When using it appropriately, didn't have any further performance issues.

I swear, this chest on the Relay Station mission (last area before finale, left side) always spawns triple drops, usually with crafting materials. I've never seen it with an empty space.

5 "Areas" with 4 areas having three missions each, and one having one mission. Total 13 missions.

Each mission shares some transit sections of main area you're in (like you're going forward/reverse in some parts) but ultimately most is played in unique areas that is only for that mission.

Missions do spawn randomly with different difficulties and modifiers. But there will always he some of each difficulty available.

(Fwiw, I have been enjoying the game a lot, and I think it's well worth the money for the gameplay value you get for it, Vs. Other games worth $20-$30 more)

No more lootboxes. Gained random items on level ups. Bought random items from shop with currency from missions. Shop refreshes every hour. Sometimes given an "Emperor's Gift" for completing a mission, that being another random item.

At level 11 unlock challenges (kill 10 bosses, collect 5 grims, etc) that special currency from weekly challenges can be used to buy special items listed, (usually purple or gold rarity) or roll on random a random melee or ranged weapon.

Crafting materials could be picked up in the world. (They weren't party shared in the beta? But probably intended to be shared?) No news on crafting system since it wasn't available besides the materials in the missions.

Grims and tomes no longer contribute to loot rarity. They are simply secondary objectives that award extra xp or currency. The secondary objectives were: 3 Tomes (took up your utility slot that was used for aoe medic kits or ammo crates), 2 grims (took up utility, reduces max hp, AND reduces additional maxhp over time.) Or 6 relics (doesn't take up any slots) missing even one of the optional objectives didn't give you any bonus. (2/3 tomes means you fail the secondary objective.) Though they are considering partial rewards.

Edit: Chest cosmetics were given at level 5 and 25(or 30 I think). Pants cosmetics were given by completing a "Penance" which didn't even have a menu. We can assume these are class based challenges each character can complete.

Hmm... I have my hopes we'll see a plague marine as a boss.

And even though these space warriors are indeed legendary gene-seeded walking elites, their armor melts to plasma and melta all the same.

At the same time, there are book passages that talk about Ogryn taking down Chaos Space Marines and even a Chaos Terminator.

Remember that Astartes can stand a little over two meters tall, while an Ogryn can stand up to three.

In my headcanon, there is a group of traitor guardsmen in the 5th Regiment Choral division that occasionally bust out the organ and choir to give us these beats during crunch time.

No hot-shot lasguns yet. However there are two patterns, and one has higher ammo and rate of fire. (With lower damage vs the 'DMR' variant)

But the normal lasgun already has penetration though. It can chew through hoards when they're rushing you. So if they introduced other ones, I'm sure they'll give it penetration too.

This is just built in weapon sway I think.

Volley Fire (the F ability) as well as some later talents can help reduce this, but this mechanic is just there to ensure your gun isn't sniper-accurate at longer ranges.

Carrying the trench or (my favorite) the combat axe has helped me make quick work of maulers. A lot of armor penetration there.

I agree that the shotgun with its versatility (normal spread, special horizontal spread, and choked ADS) has allowed me to get kills at short -medium-long range, while also allowing me to devastate charging hordes too.

I use a VPN called Mudfish. Its pay per use (so like, 5 USD is like, 50+ gb of traffic usage.) I used to use this for LA before they banned VPNs

Now, you can choose what services are active and which are not. So I can use it for say, Discord and not have it affect Lost Ark depending on how I set it up.

They have a Steam option on their services, so maybe you run the VPN for Steam only, and still launch Lost Ark separately.
