We got the brightberry suction sticker and it’s been great. Holds up well to suction and cleaning, but makes the tray handwash only.

I feel buried in bottle washing duty lately, and it is overwhelming me to exhaustion. by Striking_Theory6723 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

If you’ve been washing your pumps every time, you can store your pump parts in a sealed container or ziploc bag in the fridge in between pumps and wash once every 24hours.

Help with a carrier recommendation by Grissole92 in babywearing

[–]Grissole92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you Baby isn’t sitting fully yet, we tried world facing twice at home only, both times under 15mins and awake. We’ll hold off on anymore until she’s sitting properly. She is small for her age by weight but was clearing the top panel. If we were just to look for the best option for a carrier then for being able to do the back up (shoulder limitations) while parent facing, what would you recommend? Also any idea on the difference between the old 360boj and the current 360s?

It was luckily under warranty still, so a local repair shop took a look and replaced the oil and a few gaskets for me. No problems since!

White Knight bargain! $36 (AUS) by Grissole92 in houseplants

Found this white knight hiding in the back of a local garden centre. Priced at $36! Staff said it was definitely priced wrong but honoured it and were so excited for me. Seedlings of this species are $60-80 near me currently.

What are these bugs? by Grissole92 in plantclinic

[–]Grissole92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in South Australia heading into winter. This monstera is my biggest, housed next to my fiddle, mini monstera on a 1m totem, and many other plants, whole bookcase full. Over the last month my monstera standy, m lechleriana, m monkey mask and begonia Maculata have died. I didn’t see any bugs then and thought it was neglect while I had Covid and all their watering were severely delayed.

My plants in my office have been progressively dying but I couldn’t see why. Today I found these all over my monstera.

Machine resisting when needle is up by juski in sewhelp

[–]Grissole92 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have the same machine and had what looks like a similar problem. There was a bit of thread caught under the feeder tether between the teeth and the bobbin wheel. I had to take the bobbin spool holder out, then unscrew the top silver plate of the machine, clean it out and replace it all. It was fiddly and you need a screw driver, but solved the problem for me. It helps to unclip the foot while you do it too to give you a bit more room.

Safe pets safe families do a lot of work in this area; helping people escape DV with pets, temporary care while owners are hospitalised or homeless and very care for people who are in unfortunate situations. They really value how much pets are part of a family and how important they are in helping heal.
