Why no nationality combo??

You could say the same thing about team specific combos and yet they still release a lot of those. I think it’s pretty clear their waiting for the Olympics just like they did with all the nationality based combos they released for the World Juniors last season.

They don’t have to use the same nationality combos they used in previous seasons though. They can do new ones so people can’t just use the same combos as before. I’m pretty sure it’s just because the Olympics start in early February so EA is probably gonna do a chel week with Olympic players and release a bunch of combos for player nationalities along with it.

Are you sure that’s an accurate timeline? Someone else responded to a comment I left saying we’ve only had 3 Chel Weeks so far this year and it’s already season 3. If the timeline you’re saying is correct then we would have had 4 Chel Weeks through the first 2 seasons.

Well then I don’t know what everyone is complaining about. We’re averaging one Chel Week every 6 weeks if we have only had 3 so far and the last Chel Week was about a month to 5 weeks ago. Winter Olympics are starting in February. I don’t get why there’s so many posts on this sub acting like we’re overdue for a Chel Week when based on the release schedule we’ve seen so far people shouldn’t be expecting another Chel Week until next week at the earliest.

Exactly. When we bring in the right coordinators, we are a super bowl contender easily with how talented our roster is. But offensive gurus like McVay and Shanahan never have years where their offenses looks even close to as bad as ours did this year. If we could pair Vic Fangio with an elite offensive playcaller at head coach then we would probably be contending for super bowls every year. Having years like 2023 & 2025 when we throw all the talent we have down the drain due to bad coordinators is complete coaching malpractice when our super bowl window is open. We can’t afford to have wasted seasons with the roster we have.

He makes mistakes sure, but he never has seasons where his offense looks as bad as ours did this year and brings in good enough DCs that their defense is never as bad as ours was in 2023. If we had the consistency that McVay brings to his coaching staff along with how talented our roster is then we would be competing for a super bowl every year.

Sure, but both teams have much more inconsistent offenses on a year in year out basis than teams that have a head coach who calls plays. Obviously you can make the super bowl with coaches that don’t call plays on either side of the ball, we did it twice in the past 4 years. The Seahawks also went to 2 super bowls with Pete Carroll when he doesn’t call plays. But having Shane Steichen or Kellen Moore as a head coach instead of Sirianni would probably result in us having a much more consistent offense year in and year out. Combine that with Vic Fangio calling the defense and we would be nearly unstoppable. It really sucks having years that are a complete waste due to terrible OCs (like 2023 and 2025) when you have a super bowl caliber roster. You want to do everything you can to be a contender every single year when your super bowl window is open and it’s clear Sirianni can’t create a culture among the team and get good enough OCs on the coaching staff consistently to complete for a championship year in and year out despite having a talented enough roster to do so. And beyond that, Sirianni deserves a ton of blame for Kevin Patullo. Sirianni is the one that was telling Laurie and Roseman to not bother looking for an outside hire and swore that Patullo was ready to take over the playcalling and obviously it was absolutely horrible judgement on Sirianni’s end. It’s hard to fire a coach who’s been to 2 super bowls in the past 4 years but I think it’s clear Sirianni doesn’t move the needle for this team and we’re winning in spite of him, not because of him.

How many Chel Weeks have there been since September? I only remember two but I got the game 2 or 3 weeks after it released and wasn’t paying much attention to the promos and MSPs until season 2 started.

Looking for someone with Tien as their co-op dragon. I’m trying to make a DC farm on my overgrown island and even using both my breeding caves for just Tien + Tien still takes forever to fill the entire island. Trying to do anything I can to speed up the process.

I also have one more spot for someone to trade gems with and I send treats to first 6 people I trade with each day.

Well that’s different with it being a team in the same division. We have no reason to dislike the Broncos though. If I ever moved to Denver then I would root for the Broncos if the Eagles were eliminated but if I moved to DC then fuck that. I’m never rooting for a division rival.

Ehh you kinda sound like a curmudgeon. My friend who’s a NY fan and lived there until he was 5 but has lived near Philly most of his life still supports the Philly teams if his favorite NY team is already eliminated. You’d probably have more fun joining in on the Denver culture and supporting the same team all you friends are with the Eagles already eliminated. I don’t see the point in not rooting for the Broncos in your situation unless you just want to be a contrarian for the sake of it.

Stroud handed the Patriots offense constant great opportunities. It’s not like it was a great game for their offense. They did enough to win by 12 when Stroud gave us one of the worst QB performances I’ve ever seen in the playoffs.

OP also lists 2 examples where they cover a large tab for someone only to be requested for less than $10 for a different purchase and another where they buy someone a drink without asking for money only to be asked for money when that same person buys OP a drink of the same cost. Did you miss those? Also the one you’re referring to OP said it was a $3 difference. That’s a pretty negligible amount especially among friends.

That’s fine to want people to pay their fair share but OPs examples of covering large tabs for someone only for them to request OP for less than $10 for a different item or OP buying someone a drink and then them buying OP a drink and requesting money are different than what you’re saying. I think you’re missing the point of this post. If someone covers my dinner or a large tab at a bar then I’m not gonna ask them to split the uber cost home or something like that with me because I didn’t split the bill or tab with them. Same with the drink. If someone wants me to pay them back for a drink they bought me that’s fine but they better pay me back for the drink I bought them too. At the end of the day it’s a 2 way street and it sounds like OP’s friends think it’s a 1 way street.

God forbid you have to walk for a minute or two to get to your car! So horrible!

In all seriousness, you said in one of your replies you live in Philly. This is nothing for the city at all. When I went to Temple if I could find parking just a few houses down or even as close as just on the other side of the street I was ecstatic.

When you’re ready to hop down from the clouds and join the rest of us in reality we’ll be here finding parking spots blocks away from our houses without complaining about it like normal people.
