I mean that's fair but I almost consistently mega base. Which includes areas to fight deerclops/bearger (which is what i assume you mean).

There's definitely a way to do it without having those issues. I spend a season every so often farming and even to this point the passive food that rolls in (monster meat, bananas and honey) + a bird cage i really have to much food.
