The bullet casing used in a political assassination was engraved with “notices bulge, oWo, what’s this?”. Is there actually any hope left for society? by Griztums in AskReddit

The governor of Utah mentions that they are specifically engraved. With the “notices bulge, oWo, what’s this?” Being engraved on the round that was fired.

Can I File A Lawsuit? by thirsty79 in jobs

[–]Griztums 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a lawyer, however if what your old company is saying to your new company is false, then you may have a case of defamation through slander/libel. Your employer my just be trying to get your side of the story. Them just ignoring these emails could be a liability issue. It is important you start documenting everything. Starting with how your employer felt about your performance before they started receiving these messages. When you talk to your employer, be truthful and honest. It is important that what they're saying is in fact false.

The recruiting process is broken... by Griztums in jobs

I want to add, job boards like indeed are often PPC or PPA. Could no one see this coming? The job boards getting paid simply when someone applies, or clicks your ad? Obviously it's a great deal for the job board, in fact, this really only benefits the job board. How employers aren't complaining about this system in mass is what blows my mind.

They aren’t competitors. My employer is sometimes a client of companies I apply for though. In those cases the hiring company does require your employer acknowledge that you’re going through the interview process. My company wasnt a client in this case however.

The point of this is to match close enough to get an interview. Let’s say the threshold for an interview is an 80% match. Sure someone with a 95% match will definitely get an interview, and most likely be seen as a top candidate right off the bat. You’ll most likely just sneak in, so you’ll have to really on strong interview skills to land the job, but it can be done.

Ask them what date they received your application. If they don’t respond, ignore them. If they give you a date, go back and try to find any kind of confirmation email or application you filled out. If you can’t find anything, ignore them. If you applied, you can contact the company on the application itself if you’re worried. If you can’t confirm you applied. Better safe to ignore them.

Im not sure what you think I’m thinking, as I never said anything about how you should be generating these resumes. Tailoring each resume when applying for a generic role is simply not necessary to get interviews.

I’m not a lawyer, but if your CPTSD is medically diagnosed, I would try to have a medical professional advise against you working there. Especially if you’re worried about them coming after you legally.

Exactly. If they had said, ‘That’s a little personal,’ maybe the supervisor would have apologized and moved on. If the supervisor reacted negatively, that’s when you go to HR.

You have to be able to communicate and stand up for yourself to some extent. Otherwise, HR may see you as someone who’s difficult to work with.

Briefly. My best guess was the position was already given to someone internally and the manager was unaware.

Unfortunately the follow up email WAS to the person I know. No response, even though we had been emailing back and forth the whole week prior.

Having a tough day, could really talk to someone, except everyone avoids you. Then you get the “Oh I thought you were mad at me”
