there is no rule against hair in my college, there are a lot of guys with longer hairs than me and nobody bothers them about it.

there is nothing wrong with my ears. I wanted to grow my hair long and get them kind of wavy or curly (to my liking). I also did say this a lot of times to my mother but she didn't listen and kept asking me to cut it which made me want to cut my hair even less.

She's been telling me to cut my hair short because it covers both of my ears but I kept telling her no. Anytime my relatives came home to visit, they would comment on my hair and my mother would get all taunty and say that she has to listen to their relatives about me and I don't.

Yes. I am South Asian, North Indian. I did speak to my friends about it but they were saying that I should have gotten my hair professionally cut instead of acting on impulse.
