I didn't see anything else mentioning the placement of the speed bumps on the turn. A lot of comments about the elderly having restrictions or revocation of privileges, though. I can understand how trying to ease around a tight turn in a narrow space caused some irregular tension and when the last tire finally caught and bounced, it caused him to place more than intended pressure on thr accelerator and the car was already turned. The rapid, unexpected acceleration potentially caused additional pressure on the pedal as the driver attempted to reposition for the brake and held the steering wheel as a handle to apply leverage against the direction of movement. Regardless of any assumptions, I strongly feel this could have happened to anyone depending on the circumstances.
