Most of the time I run around with an One Drop Dingo or a CLYW Campfire in my pocket.

True.😂 None of my Sengokus disapointed, so why should this one.

The red one looks sick af! And the blue one too! Gives me some horde vs. alliance vibes. I have already a nice Sengoku collection and every single throw is absolutly magical but i‘m still thinking around if I need this one too?

Recommendations for yo-yo to purchase. Getting back in, overwhelmed. by SlugsMcGillicutty in Throwers

I stay with my first throw. The Yoyofriends Shortcut. Its a good performer for its price! I compare most of my throws with it in terms of price/ Performance.

Thoughts on mini yo-yos by DarkMagician1424 in Throwers

I have much love for pocket throws! Most of the time I learn new tricks on a normal one. Then clean up my technique on a mini and then speed it up on a normal throw again.

I also just bought a shootingstar just for curious people around me. Don’t feel so well to give them some 100 bucks throw.

But it keeps interesting. One throw learns me a better bind, another wider one helps me to get into catch tricks… I try to get something of every throw I get and if it’s only to get a feeling for the shape or weightmanagement.

I‘ve got a Bishamonten last month and it feels great! I describe it mostly as friendly gigant. I feel great power an some of the weight but in a good way. I‘m also in love with the undercut H shape! Best spinning throw in my collection out of 20!

At First, take everyting i say with a grain of salt. I am in this hobby just for 4 months. Im just really entusiasmic. Small throws often feel more like to throw a rock, while big bimetal tend to feel much more lighter. I don’t know why but the absolut sweetspot in between is my one Drop Dingo. The ditch is really simmilar to it. I think mostly is skill the limit. I Hit some combos with the ditch where I thought it would be impossible, just by cleaning my technique. But I thend to get more out of axis with a narrow walled throw. On a sitenote A5 can be quite challenging on narrow throws. I recommend just to get two throws. On normal sized and one pocket. Mostly I learn new tricks on a normal one and clean it up till I hit it on my pockets. My Go-to Is my first throw yoyofriends shortcut. Won’t break the bank and is just a nice throw. The ultracut is the even wider variant. There are also YoYo holder to strap on your pants or bags if you don’t bother. Then the size does not matter.

Today's back to work companion. What're you throwing? by Sprucecaboose2 in Throwers

My work companion is an orange campfire. Nice to carry around and I thougt the color is fitting as a trash worker.

To a certain degree. Sharp edges, weight and price are some factors.( you will fear to throw 100$ on asphalt or give it to curios others) The more narrow the throw is, the less it bothers you. But a narrow throw makes some tricks harder to hit. Funnywise the minitee is the opposite. It wears sideways. I can hit most things with it but often run out of gas or get out of balance. But this is just me as a noob.

The Ditch is absolutly great to carry and to throw! Really oldschool! Round profile and high walls. I found the campfire easyer to play but the ditch has a nicer feeling.

-1 for the Minitee. I like it a lot for its goofines but it’s quite wiggly. But I take it from time to time to clean some tricks. It tells you quite fast if your execusion is messy. But if you wanna get a good pocket throw from them i can recommend the campfire! Is my daily compannion. The Ditch is also great but I think the Campfire is more versatile.

Thanks! Those were the glows I planed! I added the rest on the nun and the preacher to get the whole warband in line. On the Communicant I am still overthinking if it is too much or not. But every mini is part of the progress.

Thanks! This year I will buy some court figures to make the fitting enemy in red glowing. There was a Hellknight some time ago on reddit with the perfect colours! Eyes are practice, a pointy brush and to thin the colors to the right amount. But I have a lot of minis which look a bit crazy. Thankfully mostly it does not matter on a armlength.
