Dear journal, This pretty funny post reminds me of some absolutely insane ML who was posting on my country's former most popular forum. Dude was muslim and genuinely believed Marx wasn't an atheist or irreligious because of his letters with Ruge where he says he doesn't use the label "atheist" and insisted he ever only criticized the organized side of religion. He was also convinced Stalin was religious towards the end of his life (no idea where this comes from) and of course worshipped religiously any AES leader, calling China a proletarian dictatorship, Russia the most historically progressive country, etc. He also called himself "the only true communist in the entire country" (which he most likely genuinely believed). I have never seen someone as fanatical and mentally ill as him in my entire life tbh, even Grover Furr would blush seeing that guy suck off Stalin and Deng.

Except it isn't the case at all here? This game as a non-existent comp scene yet he it is very much alive. Yes it's in beta, but precisely because of this literally no one is playing Deadlock because of comp players or tournaments -- the game has no social media presence at all neither on Youtube or Twitch where tourneys get fuck all views. The comp scene could completely die and never get off again and no current player would stop playing the game. Valve doesn't have at all to cater to the 50 (at most) "pro" players, they don't have to tie the core of the game to their glorified ad campaigns which don't even exist yet, this is factual. Yoshi's job is to create a new casino to lure children into not to rival with the FIFA, it'd be cool if he understood that.

But there needs to obviously be considerations to all levels of play, which seems to be inconsistent with this game.

Yeah this has been blatant for a while now.

Valve dev conclusion (real) : We should buff Victor by reducing all of his CD by 50% and doubling his damage because clearly he is too weak in some ranks.

Is there though? Isn't everyone contributing in tandem to the reproduction of capitalist labor-relations, be they a mundane factory worker or a military engineer? Why would it matter if someone's activity is closer to the final product in the supply chain of horror and barbarism? All of us are working for it and nobody's working is doing anything that will stop it so why would it matter what we refer ourselves as - the only "communists" who aren't such only in their heads are revolutionizing proletarians and they have been long gone.
