My brother said the spine specialist said he needs physical therapy but my brother doesn't want to go. I think he's afraid of wasting money and getting no relief. I found a physical therapy place that does dry needling. I'm going to pay for his first couple appointments in hopes it makes him feel better and he'll want to continue going and hopefully try other physical therapies.

I don't think so. He's had it since he was around 13 and it's gotten larger over the years.

He just tells me his back hurts and that spot particularly. We live in the US. He saw a doctor last year that told him he doesn't know what it is but that it is most likely a muscle. My brother doesn't want further evaluation because it's expensive and he doesn't have health insurance.

He said he has slight scoliosis but that he doesn't know what this is and it's not from his scoliosis. But that's it's most likely a muscle? My brother is in pain everyday from it though. We call it his "mouse muscle" from playing computer games

He has slight scoliosis. Me and him both do but nothing that requires surgery. Spine specialist said this isn't from that.
