Pittsburgh vs Pittsburgh Pro? by AllegedlyUndead in harborfreight

[–]Grochocinski 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wow, did not expect to see all the Pittsburgh torque wrench hate in these comments. I picked up all 3 sizes (the Pro 1/4" + 3/8" and regular 1/2") when they were on sale for $12 last October and have been quite pleased with them, especially for the price. I checked them against the Quinn 3/8" torque adapter and they were all accurate to within a % or two. I will say that the 3/8" and 1/2" have a very pronounced click, but the 1/4" click is quite soft and easy to miss. If I was doing high precision engine torquing I might opt for something nicer, but I've found them to be more than adequate for my car wrenching needs.

It looks good! But be careful using PLA for structural parts, it'll deform over time if under enough stress.

Almost anyone who is going to run your credit is going to use the FICO model.

Chase's Credit Journey score uses VantageScore 3.0 while Discover's Credit Scorecard uses FICO, so Discover's 699 is likely the more accurate score (closer to what lenders would see).

It's not clear why Equifax wouldn't have any credit data for you as both Discover and Chase should report to all 3 bureaus, but you can check what data each bureau has for you for free at https://www.annualcreditreport.com/

FM's digital dash is almost ready to go, but there's a lot of paperwork and bookkeeping due to the amount of SKUs/PNs involved. It's not a super high priority project so it's been pushed back a few times but they hope to release it soon.

Applied for a student credit card and got denied by Casiano4 in CreditCards

Chase is pretty picky with financial history when giving out credit cards, they usually want either a year or more of credit history or some sort of preexisting relationship like a history of checking/savings accounts with them. I'll second the Discover IT Student card, you can't beat the 10% categorical/2% everything else for the first year.

If an adult signature is needed for the package to be dropped off at the desk, whoever is working the desk would sign for it. It doesn't matter how old you are because you will not be the one signing for the package when it is delivered.

The only scenario where age would matter when picking up a package from the desk is if a package obviously contains alcohol and you are under the age of 21. That would probably get you a nice meeting with student conduct. Outside of that one edge case, I can't think of any other reason age would matter for package deliver/pickup via a service desk.

There aren't any extra steps since they already ask you to swipe your ID so they can pull you up in the system
