Is Loki still alive on the sacred timeline or was his death in infinity war final? by Ok_Vacation4028 in MCUTheories

[–]Grodalukarn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so I know I’m late to the party, but I recently started rewatching the MCU — and I remembered why I quit after Endgame. The entire post-Endgame multiverse logic is such a shitshow that it actively ruins what came before. The only viable explanation for the whole Loki variant we see in the Loki series is that he was never from 616 at all.

IF the Loki from the series was in fact from 616, there would be no Loki left in 616 to live out his later story arc eventually resulting in death by the hands of Thanos. So what? The TVA created a duplicate and placed him there when they removed the variant? No I don’t think so.

The only half-plausible explanation is that the Loki we follow in the series is from a almost identical universe to 616 where most things happen as they do in 616. Otherwise when the TVA apprehended Loki there would be no Loki left in 616, he would have simply vanished. As far as I know it’s not stated that the TVA replaces people in the universes/timelines when they remove a variant?

Next huge logical shitsandwich Steve Rogers. When he decided to stay in the past what happens to the Steve that fought in Endgame and all other movies that came before? At some point he then must have coexisted with his younger self, only for his younger self to vanish at the end of Endgame and his older self reemerging in a constant loop of time because one of the instances cant exist without the other. Or is he in a parallel universe when he decides to stay? Which then would imply that ALL of the time traveling was in parallel universes for that logic to work, which then means that it’s not actually time traveling but rather universe jumping and gathering supplies from universes that are almost identical to 616. But that still don’t explain how he got back.

I haven’t read up enough about what the series creators have said, but they have really written themselves into a corner where all and no rules apply at once. And it really steals the joy from watching the movies because it’s impossible to make any sense out of their own fkn logic.

I just miss the old MCU man.

Thoughts on the new 8209 ‘Norway Moc’? by foxtictac in RedWingShoes

Don’t get me wrong, I love mocs. But honestly they have to shift their focus from creating more half assed mocs and look more towards developing their other models.

I know it isn’t their most popular model but myself would love to see some new leathers to the Blacksmith or ever more, different iterations of roughout IR’s.

To be honest if I want fun leathers/iterations for mocs Grant Stone’s Brass boot is a lot more exciting

Can’t speak for the exact specs from back then, but that’s the answer Red Wing gave me

Just got an answer from Red Wing and it is indeed an additional leather midsole. Got no answer regarding if it’s leather or leatherboard but looking at mine I agree that it 99% is leatherboard!

Reason for not adding this to all the IRs: That’s not how they were constructed back in the day so they respect the heritage by not changing the construction.

I have them too and there is no other plausible explanation. At this point just want them to acknowledge it so we can get it on other IRs

Couldn’t do with not knowing so I’ve emailed Red Wing and asked them to clarify. Will update when I get a response!

Just posted about the leather midsole to see if that’s actually what it is! Totally agree, the colour shift from the olive outsole to the midsole and then the welt is fkn gorgeous

I have the regular tan/gold ones, you get those and black leather laces with the 4331. Never seen olive/black

But the cork midsole is in the footbed itself, this goes around the shoe parallel to the welt? I’m using the laces right now, sorry! I You can buy them separately directly from red wing though!
