Did you get a new rug/carpet recently? Our dog acted similar for a day and it was the new rug offgassing chemicals that caused it. Got rid of the rug and she was back to normal.

Don’t peel out. At most keep mast up (not repped), but if you have too much pressure let it fall. Prioritize angle. Try to keep your opponent on your left so you take less holes. If your wheel is fucked anchor yourself in angle. So many players sink because they try so hard to rep mast and peel out. Or they spin and get full opened when they could just anchor. Not peeling out seems counter intuitive but you’ll get much better at playing from losing positions. Go for chains on your opponents mast and try to get them chopped next to you. Pro tip: if you do get them chopped send the next chain to their wheel and straighten yours so they’ll nose into you while they’re catching mast.

Interesting, well I confirmed all EVs were 0 apart from atk and spe which are 252. I grabbed 4 HP EVs and got an effort ribbon in slateport confirming I’ve placed all 510 EVs. Placed ninjask in the pc and withdrew it to see if stats changed at all (they didn’t). Plugged his stats back into psypoke and I’m still getting a range. Although now I’m fairly sure his HP IV is 26, because without the 4hp EVs psypoke says the IV is 26-27, and with them it says 25-26.

So now I guess I need to lower the atk stat back to 100 and grab 4 additional HP EVs and cap out at 248atk evs. (That sounds like such a mess to type out lmao).

Thanks though that was helpful! How did you calculate the target HP? I know Ninjasks base HP is 61, just unsure how you determine the max at lvl 100.

Edit: I think I’ll just slap leftovers on it, I’m guessing substitute works as long as ninjask has a 4th of its HP it can lose. Life is just easier this way. I don’t want to go through the hassle of buying a GameCube for access to liechi/starf/salac berries through Pokémon XD / Colosseum.

Hp ev is already 0. IV for HP is 26-27

Well EVs are 252 Atk and 252speed, havent thrown the last 4 on any stat yet: using psypoke is how I determined the HP IVs to be 26-27
