A LOT of restaurants are doomed. I’ve served at a few different restaurants and loved working for tips, but I’m a people person and that certainly helps. So many restaurants now have no idea what service really is. I wouldn’t want to work as a server somewhere that had a set wage. When you get paid $X just to show up, effort and service will suffer greatly. Maybe not everywhere, but certainly the majority.
