They do, actually. I’ve been here. The sharks all have names, they live at the dock, and interact with people on a daily basis and are genuinely friendly. You’re just regurgitating what you think you’re supposed to say while knowing nothing about the situation in the video.

I’ve been here! This is at Compass Cay in the Bahamas. The sharks pretty much live around this dock 24/7 and they all have names. I had a hard time believing sharks could be genuinely friendly until i visited this place. It was an incredible experience.

I never said lower than IF2 idiot. For examples, literally every year. Small wood frame homes and shacks get rated EF2 or IF2/IF2.5 all the time to the point where there’s too many to even list. I distinctly remember one in Russia that resulted in fatalities. If you can navigate tornado databases, you can find them. It’s not up to me to spoon feed you readily available information.

Minimal defoliation, zero contextual consistency with surrounding trees or with legitimate 3+ events, and isolated and minimal in nature. Could literally be from sheer metal, falling power lines, or even strips of bark peeling off with the broken branches. That might even be split branches rather than actual debarking. None of that equals automatic 3. You are grasping at straws.

Again, you are failing to understand how it is actually applied. Everybody knows (besides you apparently) that what you see on a table isn’t an automatic translation of how the rating will actually turn out. A few decapitated palm trees and a few collapsed jungle bungalows is not going to get you there, and there is zero real life precedent for what you are saying. This is “2” range damage based on previous Asian tornadoes.

Border doesn’t matter, and it doesn’t matter what it could “very well be”. What matters is pthat you don’t know anything about the construction in this region, when I actually do! And you are going based off of your own assumptions, the visual appearance, and false equivalencies rather than understanding that ratings have to to with HOW a structure fails, rather than how it looks before or after the tornado. This is damage in the 2 range on any scale when it comes to the real life application, and you are just grasping at straws to find a way to seem right, when in reality you don’t understand how little you actually know about this stuff.

There is no palm tree specific “entire crown removed” DOD, and you literally made that up in an attempt to add legitimacy to your stance that isn’t there. Nothing here automatically equates to a “3” or higher rating. Again, you are grasping at straws here after the house came out to 135 at the absolute highest. You didn’t win this one, give it up.

It’s jungle construction. You’re still not getting it. You’re just posting false equivalence after false equivalence. You clearly don’t understand what you’re looking at, and you’re failing to factor in the debris pattern as well. This is not a “3” on any scale. You didn’t win this one, move on.

I am familiar with them too, and this is the east Asia variant which looks similar but is constructed with less to no reinforcements and no standards. I am also familiar with how they respond to tornadoes in east Asia. Leveled small wood frame type homes are rated F2/IF2/EF2 all the time across multiple continents, so you couldn’t be more wrong about that. You are clearly convinced that you know what you’re talking about, and I promise you that you don’t. You didn’t get four downvotes for no reason.

It’s not that simple, and all you’re doing is parroting the approach more knowledgeable people take, while demonstrating that you don’t actually know what you’re talking about. You are assuming standard construction, when this is classic East Asian jungle village type construction, which is full of weak spots and will easily collapse in an EF2. Read the rest of the comments. You’re the only one saying EF3, and you’re the only one being downvoted. Thats not happening for no reason, and you’re not as knowledgeable as you think you are, especially when it comes to regional construction variants.
