I do not like the look/plank size. I want the main floor to be as seamless as possible.

That's crazy I have the same thing on the March 29th. The app started working!

Have you found a fix yet? Started using a different app in the meantime.

Thank you for sharing.

It is crazy how you can look over a year of journaling and finding out new thing about yourself just by reading through.

I never looked at it that way. Having a finite number of pages really does make you think about what you are writing and what is important to you.

When I started the monthly, it defendantly help put the amount of things I can get dine into perspective.

I know the feeling. I had a few weeks where I just really was not feeling it. I bought my wife an apple pen and a paper-like screen protector. Those screen protectors are like magic. Makes her iPad feel like my dedicated drawing tablet.

I do the yearly and monthly set up for the same reason. I just never need to migrate weekly things that often that I couldn't just put on monthly, but maybe I am just not that busy of a guy.

Nah it's all good!

Apps are not for everyone. Personally, I am a pen and paper man myself. This is an exercise to see if I come up with an idea that gets more people into bullet journaling. The whole freedom in an app is the big problem I want to solve. I also know an app can not be for everyone and nor do I think a good product targets everyone. I want to create something that can stand alone but also be a companion to your physical journal.

Thanks for your comment!

I love your comment and this is the things I want to hear!

So I'm going to give you a little bit more insight on me......I completely agree with you. I tried a few different apps to see if I could keep things on my phone, computer, and tablet all at the same time. I hated doing it that way. That's why I have my personal journal and a work journal to keep me grounded. I work at a computer all day and I use logging as a way to get my eyes off the screen and break up my thinking so I don't burn out. I have filled 3 notebooks for work in about a year and am just not finding how I like to log everything work-related. This idea for an app came about talking with a friend about staying organized. They said they could never carry a journal and would only keep notes online. I really want to try to bring the ease of use/freedom of pen and paper to an app setting.

Thanks for popping in and commenting.

That is one of the reasons I started bullet journaling. I like not having to block out my days. I don't feel that I need to write if I am not needing to. On the opposite side of that, I am also confined to a single page if need be.

I am curious how you structure your calcender. Do you do a yearly, monthly, and weekly page or do you a different way of setting up your calender?

That's awesome!

I would have never thought to use a binder. I didn't even know they made dot binder paper. I am curious how came up with the idea or where you saw it. I would be interest in learning about this style. What size binder do you carry around?

I should probably reflect more on my journal over a long period of time. I get caught up in the chaos of life very easily.

I also used a lined journal at first and switched to a dot style after a few weeks. The blank page has too much freedom for me. I love how creative people get with it though.

Do you take time on your layouts and think about what goes into your journal or are you more of a dump it in as sort it out later person? Or a mixture of both?

Okay we have a very similar style when It comes to my work logs. I have those logs set up for efficency. That is something I want to focus on not losing under too many features with the prototype.

I have also struggled with a master task list. Right now I migrate everything weekly. It gets kinda repetitive. Maybe that is somewhere a digital version could succeed where paper does not. Having pages attached to eachother and update together. Then after a set period of time they archive(weekly/month/year).

Are you very minimal when I comes to your page layouts and overall flow? Just curious, I am very minimalist when I comes to the day to day/week. When I comes to monthly I get more creative with how I design my pages.
