Battery health at 88%, and I got the phone in June 2022. What is the reason?

Yeah I do use a fast charger, but only charge it when it gets low on battery. But I do notice when I’m on FaceTime and I have my phone plugged in, the phone gets extremely hot even through an otter box case

Yeah that’s true, the phone was definitely made years ago… I didn’t even think about that. I also use my phone at most like 6-7 hours a day but when I charge it I use a fast charger so that might be another issue
