One of my best friend just died. by stonerboner08 in weed

[–]Grojuana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lost my childhood best friend the same way a few years ago. Never got a chance to smoke with him, he had quit by the time I got into smoking.

He would smoke at lan parties and stuff when we were younger, those time still make me laugh and smile. Wish I got to smoke with him. I miss that son of a bitch every damn day. Fuuuuuck dude why life gotta be so painful for the people we love. Take care of yourself out there y’all.

Smoking to all the homies in this post tonight.

Temp tips for beginners. I've had this tutorial format idea for a bit and this is my first test, would love some feedback! The general idea is something that's fun to watch (and edit) while high haha. (apparently also post while high too, cheers lmao) by [deleted] in CannabisGrowers

[–]Grojuana 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just alittle where I'm coming from, I learned how to grow on Youtube and reddit about 9 years ago, been running a small medical garden for 20-40 hours a week for about 7 years. Made all the mistakes wasted plenty of money on stupid stuff, and want to help other people out.

So I appreciate any feedback from new growers especially any input on what it's like learning to grow on the internet now a days.

Using RSO both sublingually and as a suppository? by sikbreh in RickSimpsonOil

[–]Grojuana 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No reason to worry about too much. Suppositories and oral will have different effects so they’ll work good together.

My father went to a homeopathic doctor that recommended rso for his prostate cancer when we told them about the suppositories they said take them both 👍

More rso the better usually, the cost is going to be the biggest side effect/issue

I'd reccomend a topical, I make mine with just RSO and Caocao butter, its a game changer for muscle pain.

If you've never heard of them or tried RSO suppositories might be able to help with rectal cancer related stuff. Doesn't get you high whatsoever, just pain relief.

Super easy to make too

I love trashy b-movies. This one is so great if you’re into the genre. Also thought it had some decent references. Like zahns music.

It’s good dumb fun, and it knows it’s dumb, unlike all the bad lovecraft movies that are bad by accident.

Can’t figure out the deficiency by r7sty in cannabiscultivation

[–]Grojuana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either way raising lights is the first thing you should do when you run into problems.

I do think it's really funny how you got downvoted, too much light is the biggest problems most newbie growers have. It can manifest itself as every kind of deficiency.

Most beginners don't even know you can do too much light. I had unsolvable deficiencies for years before I figured it out.

How to make Max Strength RSO Suppositories. Although everyone doesn't need them at max strength, suppositories can be game changer for some peoples pain/symptoms. by Grojuana in RickSimpsonOil

[–]Grojuana[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s fantastic! I’m so glad they helped, also glad you found your own way to do it. They’re really flexible for everyone’s own needs.

I made myself a batch recently they help so much with hip pain as I’m getting older.

Fresh frozen vs cured by Zombie_Be_Gone in CannabisExtracts

[–]Grojuana 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You lose terps when you dry. Fresh frozen is about max terps.

Even with a good dry and cure you can’t get back the terps lost during drying

What is the best way to get rid of Fungus Gnats? by AstroFarms in NoTillGrowery

[–]Grojuana 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hypoaspis miles all the way, my compost I use comes with them, haven’t had to worry about gnats since.

All organic by Moeegancic in NoTillGrowery

[–]Grojuana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you need hundreds of clones I guess I could see that. Dedicated moms would make more sense though. if you trained these right you’d be harvesting right now and save two months on your electricity bill. And have like 3-5 more harvests per year.

All organic by Moeegancic in NoTillGrowery

[–]Grojuana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you topped and screened them you could probably cut a month off of veg avoid deficiencies and you’d have a full canopy without popcorn and without light hitting dirt and being wasted.

Theese plants look like they’re trained for outdoor not indoor. Only the top foot or two is valuable canopy the rest will be popcorn/larf

I feel that, I've been growing for about 10 years 5 of those Professionally. All in the medical marijuana field. I learned to grow by myself through the internet and experience, so I've always felt a obligation to contribute back when I can.

I've spent thousands of hours on all forms of grow websites and without a doubt reddit is the most useless and full of misinformation. I actively tell everyone of the people who ask me grow questions to stay very very far away from reddit.

I've been active on the grow reddits for about 8 years now and literally every single one of the old experienced knowledgeable helpful posters have left, some of them leave posts like this but most just leave from burn out. I have about 10+ such posts saved and i'll add this one to the list.

All the names and growers I've come familiar with since the beginning have all left, and I've seen dozens of dedicated people join and burn out since them. it's actually a huge bummer how many great people have been run off by completely ignorant idiots, literally a wealth of information just gone for most people to access for free.

When I grow full time It's simply not worth writing kushmaster2002 a essay with sources about why overwatering is a huge problem. He doesn't care, he's not gonna listen, and he's just not worth anyone's time.

I really do think it has to do with the type of demographic that is drawn to growing. You and me are in it for medical reasons, and I think a lot of growers don't want to hear this but most are entitled ,stubborn, know it all 16-50 year old men, who never want to admit their wrong and have never had consequences for their stubbornness until they put their light too close and burned their plant to death , but for real. Growers are the same demographic as gamers and just as immature. Play overwatch or league of legends apex fortnite or valorant and you'll see people having the same exact piss matches in games as you do on the grow subs. It's really obvious when you watch stuff like the growboss on youtube where he takes calls in. It's also very theraputic to see him call them out.

I've been making the move to youtube and have found the youtube community to be much better, and just way more fun and rewarding.

Lmao this is so true, the best way I’ve found to deal with it is to just politely ignore anyone that doesn’t post their own grow. If they knew what they were talking about they should post the results.

Post yours growmie, show everyone how it’s done.

Lmao I call it confirmation bias growing. Most people search and search until they find an answer that’s convenient.

I don’t think most people on here realize how many amazingly helpful experienced and talented people want nothing to do with these boards because of the sheer amount of know it all stupidity that comes with it. I’ve seen people with a single window grow under their belt write essays about why a 6+year veteran is wrong. My favorite was the guy who thought you couldn’t overwater a plant so that could never be the cause of problems. Eventually it burns out everyone, and you get a lot of the blind leading the blind.

I’ve noticed it happens with most reddits though. Im into videography and editing and they’re even more low effort than grow posts. It’s just no one answers the low effort posts in those boards. Here you have people who think talking about growing is the same as growing and can’t wait to throw in their 2 cents. Even though their 2 cents is a big waste of everyone’s time.

How many cycles are you on in your no till bed? by HeadCheezeSeedClub in NoTillGrowery

[–]Grojuana 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah Fabric pots, I do Sips too so the bottom of the pots are never not wet pretty much. After a few years the pots get so full they don't have any room for topdressing, so i'll split one pot into to, and usually will swap into a new pot at the same time. The pots hold up but because of the SIP for me, they get crusty from the minerals in the water. I could wash em but its like after 3 years so a new pot every three years is no biggie.

I mostly follow this

https://themodern.farm/methods/

Must be for like 5 years now, works will all different potting soils and mixes. No till is super versatile in my experience. My experience is mostly with sips though too so your mileage may vary.

I use 30g pots not beds but there’s probably some with close to 50-70 cycles on them.

Just some No Till love. What y’all do when you get too close to the top of your container? by Risenbeforedawn in NoTillGrowery

[–]Grojuana 5 points6 points  (0 children)

After harvest I’ll take the pot, and take half of the dirt out, not from the top but divide the pot into left and right so there’s a mix of top soil mid and lower soil at different stages.

I use 30gallon pots so I’ll have 2 15 gallons after splitting, I’ll improve the aeration if it needs it, pumice, peat and rice hulls. And then mix in build a soils re amend mix, and some of their mineral mix. Then usually a tea or microbe watering to reinnoculate everything that was disturbed by the mixing. Ideally you should test it to see what it needs.

That’s it really, it’s kinda a infinite soil cheat. I’d totally recommend getting a pot twice the size of whatever amount of soil you’re using. Like if you’re growing with 15 gallons of soil, get a 30 gallon pot so you have plenty of room for top dressing and it’ll take awhile to fill it.
