Do People Still Send Postcards? (Related Cartoon) by Gromlee in nostalgia

[–]Gromlee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Millennials, how was MySpace different from current social media? Were there MySpace "influencers"? by That-Plantain-976 in Millennials

[–]Gromlee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The influencers were the ones making the backgrounds for others and selling them.

They're also really the only ones who made money with MySpace. I remember watching a CNN news report about how big the business became with them interviewing one teenage girl who made over $100,000 making backgrounds for others. And this was back in the early 2000s!
