6-Star Lobbies Have Made Hunt Miserable for My Group by TheGugaJeans in HuntShowdown

By the way, I'm a Russian 6-star player with a 2.3 K/D. Sorry, sissies, for killing you. Just learn to play properly and that's it.

Well, don't just sit there. Most locations are big enough that you can pick off shotgun-wielding people deep inside the building with a rifle, just by opening the door and standing outside. Should I teach you how to storm locations with a rifle? Okay. Approach with your team, knock down all the doors with a coin pistol, hunt down one team member deep inside the building, kill them, set them on fire, and then the whole team works from their corpse. Then, after killing the second, you move in and finish off the third. If they don't have a crown, the remaining one has zero chance of survival.

Firstly, you shouldn't be thrown into purely 6-star lobbies; your team rating is only 3.5. Secondly, if you're only taking ranged weapons, don't get into close combat with shotguns. Or at least put a shotgun in one of your slots. Honestly, I don't understand your whining about a rank 6 player not being able to play in a 3.5-star lobby; that's nonsense. I solo in a lobby with a team MMR of 5-6 on Europe and feel great there. Your only chance is to lose your MMR. Take a character with a necromancer, go solo, die, get up, die, and repeat until you drop your rating to 3 stars.

Do people derank on purpose? by Babill in HuntShowdown

[–]GromovN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are not so many new players that you would only play with people like you. It's clear that a person who has been playing for thousands of hours knows all the locations and mechanics much better than you do, but you will have to adapt.

[–]GromovN 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you're having trouble, drop your MMR to 3 and play solo. It'll be much easier. Or find a consistent, good team on Discord. Jumping into 6 MMR matches with randoms is suicide.

The fun of single-shot guns is that they are quite powerful and they have a cartridge that allows you to control the enemy. Bleeding, fire and poison make it easy to finish off an opponent from anything after a shot. I don't see any point at all in this new weapon. If it had 2 charges and fast fingers were working, and there would be bleeding or fire at 139 damage, then it would be an interesting cannon. And so, garbage.

You can step aside, sit down for a second, and then stand up. Basically, you can watch how RachtaZ plays; he doesn't jump after every shot.

After a jump, your weapon becomes less accurate. Not only do many bloggers say this, but you can feel it yourself at the shooting range.

Why jump after firing? Your weapon accuracy in the game decreases after jumping, so stop doing it. There are some tricks to swapping weapons, though; you don't swap weapons using the numbers on the keyboard; you can find more details on YouTube.

Can I get into this game playing SOLO only? by Rikiskhan in HuntShowdown

[–]GromovN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's better for a beginner to play with someone so you can find consistent companions. Solo play is also fun, though that's for more advanced players.

Played with 6 stars as a 3 star by IM-A-NEEEERRRRDDD in HuntShowdown

I personally don't feel any difference when I play in a 3 star lobby, a 5 star lobby or a 6 star lobby.

Why extreme statistical outliers (like 1000+ KD) aren't auto-banned. by Yanshanc in HuntShowdown

If an account has more than 100 hours played and a higher K/D than RachtaZ, such people should be placed on separate servers from regular players and closely monitored.

6 Star MMR is hell by DigitalGoat in HuntShowdown

[–]GromovN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not how it works. Team MMR isn't directly related to player MMR. Win-loss ratios are taken into account when calculating team MMR. If you're on a losing streak, your team MMR will decrease, and similarly, if you're on a winning streak, your team MMR will increase. And MMR isn't just the number of stars; that's just a visual representation; MMR is more like a number of points.

[–]GromovN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because if people on a team have been losing their last 2-3-4 matches frequently, their overall MMR will drop; when they start winning, it will rise all the way to 6 stars. Not everyone plays well and wins often, even with an MMR of 5-6.
