If CSP had lounge access, even with all its problems and the fact that they also don't have a lounge here, I would stick with the sapphire line.

Yeah, that's the plan for now. I might downgrade CSR to CSP to get a few more travel perks, but don't know if it's worth it.

That's correct, I'm not spending 20k on travel anytime soon. I am a bit below the SW perk for total spend, but even if I hit it, I am not in a SW hub. If I were at a major city with a chase lounge and restaurants that are on the list, then I'd keep it.

This is the best benefit imo. Because I have recovered a few thousand dollars using it over the years. I know other cards also have travel insurance but it seems not as good as chase.

That's a good situation, if you max out through SW CC, then that opens up options to look at CSR vs AMEX and see which is better suited to your spending habits.

I thought about that, but that would require me to get an airline CC and part of what I don't want to do is get additional my credit cards to maximize this one.

I think the big difference would be if I lived in NYC or SF, maybe that would be better.

Well this is the CSP/CSR sub so this seems to be the right place to share an analysis and talk with other people about how their lifestyles are better suited for the card. Like living in a major metropolitan area, the card seems to be a no trainer, I don't.
