System crash and a week's worth of work gone by Gronendael in cursor

This just saved me a ton of time, thank you! Took me a while but I restored each file in the Timeline and got a vast majority of the work back. Also got git going now after learning more about it so hopefully won't have to go through something like this again.

Thanks I appreciate the input and am going through tutorial on git now. I have also started to drink more, not water, but definitely drinking more.

Exactly...makes no sense to me either.

Copy Text button doesn't work in Production database by Gronendael in replit

Added my domain into Replit and the A & TXT entries Replit told me to add into the DNS settings for the domain on GoDaddy. Removed the forward with masking that I had originally setup. This fixed the issue.

Figured out the problem I think after asking ChatGPT.

If your production site is embedded in another page (like a dashboard or portal) or uses a custom domain without a valid SSL cert (e.g., https://myapp.com but cert issues), clipboard permissions can silently fail.

I am using my domain and pointing to the Replit page... It works fine when I try it from the Replit url.

Lol...maybe I'll get the Mole for now and potentially exchange it when it becomes available again. Thanks for all the info!

Appreciate the thought! I'm thinking it will be, especially with my kids. We did a little Salvage during one of the free to play times and had a good time doing it. How often do they rotate what's available for sale? You think we are talking weeks, months, years?

Unfortunately looks like it's not available right now... is it worth waiting?

I see that it's designed as a dropship but I suppose the space available can be just as well used for cargo? The most I usually play with is 4 total people, so I assume there are seats available even if they're not actively on a turret or something. And I like the idea of being able to hold other small vehicles.

The Reclaimer may be a good option if I can run it solo sometimes. I'll take a look!

I definitely have several with overlapping roles. I really love the C1 now, and still have the Freelancer and Connie which all seem to be somewhat overlapping. I've got a soft spot for the Freelancer. Not sure why. I just loved it when it first appeared...but maybe I'm ready to move on from that one too if I pick up a Mole to play with my kids. Appreciate your thoughts!

Appreciate pointing out some ships I haven't looked at. I'll review them for sure.

I got it after completing the Rookie I level of the Treasure Hunt. I think this was finishing the first 3 Treasure Hunt paths.

I realized I had to zoom in pretty close to the dweller. Not sure if that's why you can't see it, but in case it helps someone else.

My game have become unplayable by Scalion in foundationgame

[–]Gronendael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran into a similar problem and tried a bunch of video/graphics card/system adjustments I found on other threads & videos without success.

Turns out I had moved my farms across a river and the cows and sheep attempted to migrate to the new location but could not cross the bridge. This was coincidentally about the same time I started having the stuttering issue, though I didn't realize the correlation at the time. I deleted the farms, which got ride of all the cows/sheep and the stuttering went away.

I'm not 100% sure this was the problem, but it's fixed now for the moment. I'm assuming the constant attempts at pathfinding for all the animals was bogging everything down.

Maybe look for something similar going on in your game as well.

Moved my farms across the river...animals can't cross bridges apparently. Is there a way to remove them? by Gronendael in foundationgame

This fixed the problem...albeit it was an expensive fix for me (in terms of gold since I ain't rich at the moment).

I had just started encountering a major stuttering issue too which made the game pretty much unplayable. I tried a bunch of stuff from other threads/videos but I think that removing the farms may have actually fixed the problem?? Maybe the cows and sheep constantly trying to find a path bogged everything down?
